I'm making a black metal project,but I need ideas for the album cover ,I got writers block ,maybe some of y'all's ideas may work for me, my theme for my music is basically what joyofsatan teaches and the moral of spiritual satanism

Depending on the overarching visual aesthetic you've had in mind for the band, you could always borrow album cover inspiration from the likes of groups such as Burzum, Mayhem and Dark Funeral with a drawing or artistic editing of a place or structure relevant to the ancient teachings such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Temple of Karnak, the Acropolis of Athens, the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Wewelsburg Castle, etc.

Do not give away your affiliation to JoS, act in a veiled manner. I do not know exactly what you are doing or how good you are at protecting yourself, but even very popular and influential musicians at this point in time are dangerous to advertise such things. Act in a veiled manner.

For the above reason, I would not recommend making covers with deliberately National socialist-pagan themes. And all sorts of stereotypical "brutal" metal skeletons with crazy fonts, although they look like an entourage, but for the most part just gaudy.

Until the 20th century, there were literary works that somehow deviated from the christian idea of Satan and gave people a reason to look at Him from a different angle. These works still had christian influence, but they were also steps towards changing the public perception of Satan. The band "Black Sabbath", like all metal in general, is also one of these "steps". Not all of their songs can be called even close to Satanic, but they have, for example, N.I.B and, in general, a certain rebellious spirit that destroys the puritanical mentality.

Why am I talking about all this? There are people in metal who have moved away from the original Satanic message and draw vile things, as if based on a christian description of Hell and Demons, or people who look like they draw inspiration from wiccanism and draw all sorts of women with deer horns, white eyes, Indian feathers and crows. A tasteless mess of different cultures and poor design.

Instead of all this, I would turn your attention to the aesthetics created by those Satanic authors themselves, who expanded the consciousness of their contemporaries. You probably already know good musicians. You can also look at Lavey's performances or Gustave Dore's engravings for John Milton's book Paradise Lost. I haven't read the book, maybe it's not one of those, but these illustrations still have a pathos, gloomy atmosphere, and Satan is shown to be handsome and strong. This engravings reminds me of the painting "Satan summons His legions." The artist John Martin also comes to mind. In general, engravings and epic paintings can be a good source of inspiration and taste.

You can also meditate on the sigil of your Guardian Demon, Satan or One of the Demons close to music or art, do rituals for Them and ask for inspiration and good ideas.

I'm just advising. Do as you see fit.

I did not urge you to stop writing about Satan and His ideas. I urged you to be careful and not bring persecution upon yourself. It's not about morality and message, but about not going on stage with the flag of the Third Reich in one hand and the JoS emblem in the other.

Write about the good aspirations that Satan, JoS or Hitler cultivate in us, but do it so that some jews can't connect your personality with JoS or the Third Reich.

I'll give you an example of the N.I.B - Black Sabbath song again. She describes the beginning of a relationship with Satan very well, showing Him in a positive light. But Ozzy Osbourne has nothing to do with JoS and wrote it about 50 years ago.

It's a great song about Satan. It does not advertise the author's affiliation with JoS, but at the same time shows Satan as He is. The author can easily hide from any questions behind subculture, widespread Satanic entourage and other things.

Knowing the music market, society and having life experience, you can also resort to veiled messages. The main thing is to continue to remain anonymous in the context that I have in mind.

These are good ideas. I hope you understood my main message about the fact that you need to maintain a certain secrecy of your motives when you are not a simple metalist-lover of satanic entourage, but a follower of the Gods.

Build relationships with them, study exactly how this can be done and ask for advice if necessary. Also please take a closer look at my recommendations for inspiration.

Trying to warn people against all kinds of mistakes, a lot can be said. But I think the best things would be: meditate, study the site and sermons, do reflections, think before you act. And It is also important to follow the instructions in meditation exactly so as not to accidentally harm yourself.
