HEART CHAKRA?

Im confused on how to correctly align the heart chakra. Is it horizontally or vertically? Ive been aligning it vertically since it seems to make more sense but ive been getting these pains lately in that area. Sometimes i hear my heart beat too and it beats real fast sometimes as if i were panicking. Im starting to think im aligning it wrong. In these two photos from the jos one is vertically and one is horizontally?

No, both align the same way if you notice them. It's the extra lines outside the rhombus that may confuse you in the second pic.

But anyway, it says the heart chakra looks like a punani, have you seen a horizontal punani??

Both pics if you noticed point up and down, not left and right (obviously your energy can't go anywhere if you point it left and right. And the pain could be anything. Even if you align a chakra wrong you don't really get any pain. It just that the energy doesn't circulate normally. For one I know that because for years the solar chakra was said in the JoS site to point up and it's been recently corrected to point down. I used to align it point-up for 5 years and didn't get any pain or whatever else, it just that it was weaker.

Yes, the heart chakra should be aligned vertically. I have had similar problems as well with pain when I am working in this area. From what I've read, I would say this is due to a blocked throat chakra. I believe other SS have said that a blocked chakra will cause pain and/or a burning sensation in the chakra below it, the energy cannot progress any further and will build up in the lower chakra. You should read up on the chakras in the meditation page of JOS.

Wow that never occurred to me. If i have a blocked chakra then it would definitely be my throat chakra. Because i am prety anti social i dont know what to say to people or how to communicate properly other than online. I also have problems sharing feelings with people. It isnt till recently that im doing the reopening of the chakras that im beginning to feel sympathy towards others. Or if someone asks for help i now feel sorry for some and help them. My anger has also returned just very matured.

 My throat chakra has always been my weakest and most neglected chakra of them all. I always disliked it because i never saw meaning to its qualities. Now i see, thank you nick i just realized.

Hahaha a punani, good one there. But yeah your right it was the extra lines that confused me. And as for the pain i just noticed that my throat chakra is blocked so that must be the cause of the pains.
