Maybe the "Gold" is allegorical for sould perfection, I think that Satan's intentions were those where the human could reach a high spiritual level and develop technology as the Gods, mixing the technology and the spiritual skills of the human race then humanity would serve an important role for other aliens. The Book of Enki  is allegorical texts from Sumeria that Zecharia Stitchin exaggerated and or outright lied about in a literal translation, which conveniently twists the conclusions into biblical basis.
Zecharia Stitchin is a jew and it is highly likely he purposely misappropriated the translations.
