First off this is to inform people who haven't seen this or fully looked into what is happening.
This is also some of my opinion on the matter from studying this conflict plus many past conflicts in the last 100 years
Both countries are looking to join nato now and this to me screams a pretext to start another conflict to try and drawn russia and the usa into a global war.
Now from looking at the ukraine-russia conflict that I believed could of been avoided if zelensky didn't go full retard and try to join nato or follow the Minsk agreement (correct me if I'm wrong)
One of russias red lines is no more nato expansion. Finland and Sweden both from the looks of things have no border tension or disputes plus no break away regions so even if they declared an armed neutrality there would be no pretext to start a conflict unless they apply to join nato.
Now how could this pull in nato if they just apply and no agreement is met, well Boris from the UK signed a security agreement. Now it sounds scarier than it is, when first seeing it even I thought troops and boots on the ground but this more likely be what the uk Is doing with ukraine and providing military equipment to prolong bloodshed as the wording is provid military assistant. However with boris at the helm he could do anything to save himself from the disaster he is having in the UK. https://www.politico.eu/article/boris-johnson-uk-commits-to-defend-sweden-finland-if-attacked/
Another war here will also destroy the economy of the west more as its the enemies goal to collapse the economy for their reset. The west will pump billions into another war. Just look here in the UK inflation is up and they put taxes up but we can throw millions into another conflict to prolong it. I could go on to talk more about the conflict in Ukraine and how it is weaking the west both economical and military.
On a side note one thing that has come from this conflict is now it has show people in Europe how demilitarised their armies have become and how they will have to rely on the usa military power.
