Hi, I wanted to ask if it's alright to dye your hair?

For example, I'm a natural brunette, but I really like my hair to be dark red, velvet red hair.

Or is this sick and one should not do this?

There is nothing inherently wrong with it, as it is just a means of self-expression. The problem is that people have used hair modification to signal their internal discomfort. Certain styles have negative connotations associated with them, because of that phenomenon.

I see.

I like how my hair is, just that sometimes I like it to be red, not bright red, but dark. I think it looks pretty.

I was however worried that it could of been disrespectful for the Gods or such.
