Dedication FAILURE

So I did my dedication tonight, but it felt invalid. Not only that but I had to do it twice because the first time I threw it in the flame without reciting it and I didn't say "Hail Satan". I thought it wouldn't hurt to do it again (the right way). Then when I finally did it for real, I realized afterwards that the candle was white on the inside. WHITE. So now I'm left wondering if it even worked. Could anyone provide any insight on this?

P.S. I know what HP Maxine said about doing it twice. I just wanted to make sure I did it right.
 
As long as you are Gentile (meaning, you're not Jewish), your intentions are sincere and if you got a bit of blood on the paper with your signature, your dedication ritual is accepted.

It was valid. Don't do it a third time please, lol. What counts is your intention, so if you intended to dedicate yourself, it was valid. So don't let stuff like this worry you. :)

You are too anxious and worrying far too much. It is what is in the heart that counts. Not in the details
so much. Any color of candle will do, if that is all you have. Even a black one. Father Satan cares
about what is in your heart, not so much as if you did the rituals exactly right.


I am sure you are just fine. Just start meditating and studying the Joy of Satan site, and participate
in the rituals. And learn patience. As the saying goes, "All good things come in due time".

Welcome to the family!!!

The important parts of the dedication ceremony is: 1- your blood on a piece of paper. Even 1 drop of blood is valid. 2- your intention. Do/did you Want to dedicate your soul to Satan? Is it your soul that you gave willingly to Him?
The candle color and everything else are props. I know of one person who used a fireplace log instead of a candle. But that's another story. The point is, Satan really IS an all-knowing God. He understands us and our predicaments. 
It is nice that you're wanting to please Him. But the anguish you're feeling is a left-over from your previous religion. Don't get stuck in it. Move on. Trust your Father Satan. [Sounds good doesn't it? YOUR Father Satan!!!]

Today and tomorrow are special days. The Satanic New Year's eve and New Year's. We call it Beltane. HP Hooded Cobra posted a special ritual for this occasion. Please do this. It's very important to support our Joy of Satan clergy as well as Satan and our Gods.

The candle color does not matter. It's what in your heart that matters. It was valid. I used a scented red candle and my dedication was bad. But I know that it was valid because well I've advanced through Father alot and all I wanted was to be accepted and to see the truth through all the lies. welcome to the family :) you shouldn't worry but congratulate yourself that you're not just another fucking sheep in the herd

Just keep talking to Father and advancing yourself. If you truly wanted to dedicate and your flood was on the paper it was valid. Also there is lots of info on here and JoS to learn from. The people here are the only people I actually listen to and trust.
