Connecting to the Gods

To connect to a God I found out a tecnique that at least works for me.

I visualize the God's body while he is meditating, then I can also focus on his chakras and connect. Here you can see what a chakra govern, and connect to it. An example is the 3rd chakra for the self.

How the body looks isn't the big deal here, it just an help to connect more as we humans form bonds while seeing eachother.

You should also take a look at the Virtues related to the Gods.

Then you need to do the bravery act of connecting and be open, and you will experience something good.

As for the rest, reality is defined by the Gods, and our goal is to remove every ostacle, every keliphos, and manifest them, in and out.

Thought about doing the same, although I find this a bit intrusive. Perhaps it's okay to do this with their sigils but not directly with them.

It's not intrusive, don't look at this in that way, it will only block you.
You should remove any doubts and fears, and simply go and connect.

You can also try to memorize a sigil and visualize it while you doing what I wrote above.

What he/she says is true although in order not to have misunderstandings, it is better to ask permission first, I do it not so often but sporadically with Lady Astarte, this allows me a better closeness and communication, but it all depends on whether they allow it, I have always asked permission to do something, we are travelers on the road and we do not know what can bother the other.

Proceeding with respect is what matters the most here, if you proceed with an intention of respect and openness, they will tell you when yes and when NO and at what times.
