Yes. There would be no issue doing this.
Some advice here, I don't know how much it will apply but when I was much younger and had less privacy, I would have a few places I would walk to and meditate.
I would sometimes go for a walk deep into the forest and meditate deeply there. You can make up any excuse or reason to give.. or just try to find a secluded area that doesn't have much foot traffic.
At times I would do chakra breathing and chakra spinning while walking if I didn't have time for an actual meditation until much later.
