Is better starting a working during a satanic holiday, but not in a good planetary day of the week for this type of working, or in the good planetary day?
For example, there is waxing moon in Capricorn on Sunday and on Monday. The good planetary day for starting a discipline working would be Sunday, but Samhain is on Monday. What is the best day in which it can be started?

Look for when the moon is void. That is a bad time to start anything.

Other than this, it is not very important for most kinds of things when you should start them. It is unlikely for one day to be so much better or worse than another day that it will make a big difference.

The most important thing is for you to repeat the work every day until it is strong, which will usually be for at least more than 40 days. And do not skip any days. Doing something every day for many days is very much stronger than only doing it once on a good day for it.

A holiday is a good time to start something. Just be careful to check that the moon is not void.

Not every factor will always go in your favor. Just do your best here to get as much of the right timing as possible.

Personally, it is not totally clear how much influence certain holidays have relative to the moon sign specific to your working. If you start your working on the Saturday, this would be better than Sunday, due to the relation with Saturn. Also, start on the hour of Saturn as well.

The above is a strong time, so you won't be dissatisfied, even if the Samhain date has a net strength of 10% over that Saturday. (which I don't know how it compares).

There is a significant difference between moon signs and phases. If you wait perhaps 5-10 days and start on a date that increases the working's power by 25%, then this is definitely worth it.

Maybe you meant that timing for small actions doesn't matter as much, but for workings which you may extend 40, even 80 or 120 days, then you should definitely pick the right time. Usually, this is just a matter of planning and not major stress or anything.

......

Yes, I meant more for small things.

For something large, I would be looking at the placement of the planet related to that situation. And it could be months or even more than a year before that planet is in a good position. So I am assuming that part of the framing of the question is that the relevant planets for a large working are already not in great positions. So if it is started a few days sooner or later, it would not be very important because it would not have nearly as large of an effect as waiting for better planet alignments.

But at the same time, you can't just wait forever and never do anything. And starting something at an imperfect time is much better than never starting anything.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to wait like 5-6 months for a planet to change sign. Usually a good moon position will provide a decent enough boost. You only really have to watch the inner planets, as well. The outer ones will take way too long to make a difference.

Waiting a few days for a good moon sign is worth it, but waiting months is not. For major problems, you can even finish a 40 day working before that more optimal date, as well. Whether it is worth acting during these conditions depends on the severity of the problem, though.

In the case of small things like certain meditations, this is where the best approach is probably to simply restart it on a better date, if you remember to do so.

Thank you for the answers.

So would starting on Samhain be better only for certain workings?

What are the pros and cons of starting a spell in a lunar eclipse? What are the uses of eclipses?
Good question.

waning moon - black magic
you can curse, destroy negative karma, get rid of bad habits - diseases.
You can do these during the waxing Moon, but the waning Moon strengthens the destructive works.
For example, clearing chakras.

By the way, I was thinking that December 23 is Satan's day and a new moon in our time zone. And the Moon in Capricorn, which is even better for knocking down negative karma.
So I'm starting work aimed at getting rid of certain inhibitions and bindings.
But, a job that brings wealth and money would also be quite effective, I'm sure, since your December 23rd is "the thinnest border between the astral and the physical plane."
Or maybe these days are the Winter-Summer solstice? someone please correct or confirm.

Good question.

Samhain would facilitate workings that are related to the energy it provides. It sounded like it had Plutonian themes, so that is my best guess as to what would work best on it. We also know that astral sensitivity is heightened, so there is a general correlation to water.

As for the lunar eclipse, I wasn't originally certain of this. When I searched online, it talked about how the earth blocks the moon from the Sun's light, creating a Sun opposition Moon condition (relative to earth). It also mentions how such events only occur on Full Moons, as well.

HPS Maxine's distinction between Full and New Moons' energies

This seems to provide us a more "pure" moon, as people mention this event can make people act ungrounded. Online, sources talk about using this for endings, but I'm uncertain about this. Before or during the Full Moon seems like the best time to use the energy like a very strong Waxing (constructive) moon.

In the case of Taurus, this can be used for gaining wealth or bringing stability, or it can be used for direct improvement of one's own lunar energies.

The conclusion therefore seems to be to plan time for this event, including waking up at the appropriate time if this event occurs close to the end of the astrological day for you.
