From reading through various forums and sources it seems that canker sores are, primarily, a deficiency of Vitamin B12. Therefore a good thing to do for us who do have this issue is to increase the B12 input.
One way is to take supplements. A Vitamin B complex is very good for this. Results may vary depending on each organism, but it cannot do any harm. For some a canker sore may disappear after two or three days (one capsule per day - must read administration guide), for some it may take longer and for others it helps only as a preventive measure. Supplements also have nutritional yeast. Beer is rich in vitamin B and yeast so this is why after a beer the pain may have a temporary reduction. It has nothing to do with alcohol sedation as if you drink wine it does nothing and stiff alcohol only makes things worse. This is not to say you should treat yourself with beer.
Another way is to take it from food rich in B's. Peas, oranges, bananas, nuts, wholegrain bread, liver, beef.
Those contain folic acid as well that helps on the issues.
Vitamin B has multiple benefits: it transforms food into energy quicker, it helps the metabolism, strengthens immunity, increases hair and scalp healthiness and helps with the transportation of red blood cells. Positive consequences is that it gives us much vitality and positivity and helps in reducing stress and anxiety.
