Surely because you read it in some Jewish grimoire that is only full of lies and blasphemies
The truth is that people so have no idea what it means to be a God, to be perfect, and what such a level of advancement entails, that they hope the Gods will share their delusions from hallucinatory perversion because they cannot conceive of anything higher than a personal mental illness.
And the point I want to make in specifying this concept is that we should take our Gods as EXAMPLES of life and not think that our psychological perversions are the Gods' examples of life...it seems obvious, but not only is much of Christian programming rooted on not understanding how great a true God is, but more importantly the fact that in our actions when we take care of someone else, ourselves or anything we may interact with in our lives, we should always ask ourselves what would a God do in this case?
What do the Laws of Maat teach?
What values does Astarte embody?
Seeing someone in distress, what would Anubis do?
Would Valefor lose patience with someone who is in pain and therefore does not know what he is saying?
How generously would Khnum help this situation?
Would Lucifius Focalor/Isimud, seeing a newly dedicated Satanist not being very convinced about something, treat him with patience and understanding or make him feel wrong?
Zeus/Baalzebul (Enlil) seeing that he could do the right thing with the group schedules by Hp. HoodedCobra666, would he hesitate to do it?
If Ares could do an FRTR, would he be lazy?
Does Apollo/Azazel during the day get bored meditating and taking care of himself?
Would Amon Ra ever do injustice against an innocent person for personal benefit?
If Osiris had to answer an argument, would he first accept that his teaching is right in every possible way or would he prefer to leave it to chance?
Would Bastet/Hagenti be bothered by having to love her pet kitten?
Does Mulciber or does he not do 100% of his best when he creates something beautiful?
Does Alastor hesitate when he has to do the right thing?
Does Asmodeus/Eshmun devalue his self-esteem or does he understand his worth?
Does Dagan betray or is he loyal to his people?
Would Thot go on blind faith or would he prefer to think with his own head?
Would Seshat have a problem going deeper by studying a mysterious topic before publicly disseminating it?
Does Bes want to make others happy or would he prefer to spread sadness in social events?
The list is really long, I wanted to write this because many people have no idea of the importance of the Gods in our lives. They are waiting for their inner world to improve when the Gods come back in 20 years, but the Gods are already here in your little inner world, you just have to see them, open your eyes: they are already here.
