No one is getting left behind. You are a Satanist regardless of your ability to give. However, a lot of people have a warped view of giving. They always say, "I'll give when I have enough." but that never happens because enough is never actually enough. If you won't give 10 cents out of a dollar now, you won't give 10 million if you won the lottery for 100 million.

Even to get into the first donor tier takes like 10 dollars, or literally anything to show that you are serious and care.

Let's go by the founder's intentions:

HP Maxine intended for JoS and all its basic knowledge to be free. She asked people to donate but she never forced anyone to donate. There were many people who just said "I don't want to donate" and that's fine. She never tried to guilt-trip or shame those people.

You don't have to justify why you don't want to donate, because JoS is supposed to be free and donations are supposed to be an optional, not mandatory thing.

If in the future, hypothetically speaking, a new HP tried to make JoS heavily focused on donations and/or shamed those who don't want to donate (for whatever reason, as this is their own right) it means that JoS would be compromised and strayed far from its original intentions, and therefore there wouldn't be any reason to donate anyway.

Donations have the function of saving and maintaining the Jos, its expansion, its “life” and its security.

The ways that the Leader has created to do this have a basis of manipulation, which should not be misunderstood. For in this case manipulation is ethical and positive.

Everyone who knows manipulation, knows the difference between “negative” and “positive” manipulation strategy, and the methodologies used by Leaders are basic manipulations on “simple” levers. Any person with a modicum of knowledge notices this.

The community is ours, every SS's, and it is not correct to avoid responsibility on the economic issue to support our family. The previous Leader took charge of everything, as did the current Leader in the beginning. But it is not right.

Giving is one of the most important things in this family. And those who can should help themselves (help the Jos and how to help themselves), through this action. Those who do not have the real possibility to do so, should try to achieve this goal, because to do so will help themselves, in many ways. Not doing so, for those who have the possibility, is like rowing against themselves, there is no benefit, on the contrary.
