I often see articles and answers here about how important it is to take physical actions parallel to your spells (especially in love spells). But let's say you cast a death spell on a target. Do you do anything in the physical world to harm them? No! Yet, the target faces destruction and dies if you are powerful enough. Or in a binding spell, do you perform anything in the physical world to achieve your goal? Again, no. But it still works. The interesting part is, if a practitioner can solve the problem themselves, why would they use magick?

Now, in love spells, based on my own experience and the experiences of people I know, taking physical actions alongside the spell can sometimes destroy the outcome. I have used various types of love spells multiple times. I saw the effects of most of them within 4-5 days, and some were almost instant (though these usually resulted in lust and affection, not deep love). In my early love spells, when I saw signs that the target started to like me, I took action and started to talk to them. However, I noticed that they lost interest after I did this. This was not ideal, and none of us want that outcome.

I discovered that physical actions were disrupting the energy. So, I decided to avoid taking any physical actions and pretended not to notice them. This worked like a magnet! The target literally couldn’t take her eyes off me. Even my friends would say, "Hey bro, she is looking at you like she wants to f*ck you." Then, she approached me, and signs that the energy was working successfully were everywhere.

It is recommended to invoke energy within yourself when doing love work. However, when you project energy from yourself, you create a bond between you and the target. You don’t want to be part of the spell because the energy will affect you, too. You might start seeing her in your dreams, thinking about her all day, and wondering why this is happening. This happens because you are connected to the energy. This is why I always evoke energy in my love spells. I prefer evoking energy unless I’m doing pyhsical masnifestations for myself or healing myself.

Yes, when it comes to wealth work, you should take physical actions in the real world. But again, if you were already an expert investor, why would you perform a money spell? It’s because you don’t know how to get big money through physical means alone, which is why you use a money spell.

I know someone who cast a love spell on a target with the help of demons. The target started seeing her everywhere, in every dream, and thinking about her every day, unable to get her image out of his mind. Imagine this like a thoughtform glued to his mind. After 30 days, he came to her willingly. The working was successful without any physical actions or even seeing each other in person.

High Priest HoodedCobra spoke on the AMA in JoSDonors about this. Not all spells/workings are the same and neither follow the same patterns of laws of manifestations. This is due to complex situations of aims, karma, fabric of life etc.

Also impulses in the astral or energies are not enough to change completely a life around, or form actual soul bonds, or make you wealthy. The disagreement you are doing stands in your expectation of what a spell should do, which the standard we go by is nothing less than ultimate excellency.

I think Magick should be approached in a more individual and unique way than it is described by the OP. I would like to give an example of Software Engineering and then relate it to Magick. In Software Engineering, we have lots of problems, such as lagging games with mediocre graphics on most powerful computers nowadays while 20 years ago a similar level of graphics and high performance was achieved using 10-50 times less powerful devices. This happens, because in the power of IT companies exists one category of sub-humans who think like this: "If one woman can give birth to a child in 9 months, then 9 women will do the same in one month". There are some problems that can be parallelized, but some are impossible as the structure of the process must take some time to complete.

Why do I give this example? Because the end result in Software Engineering is impacted by the following:
1. Scope of the problem.

2. Competence and skill set of people. And the best developers are not those who are able to juggle dozens of programming languages (even if their juggling is really extremely skilled and deep), but those who know the programming languages, frameworks, other stuff well enough, but also know very well the scope of the problem. So if for example someone wants successful medical software, this client should not be an idiot. He/she should really invest some money and time to first teach the basics necessary for software developers of this field, developers of medical software. If one does not do this, then he/she is going to pay 5-10 times more money in the future in the best case, and in the worst case absolutely no result is going to be delivered.

3. Stack, hardware used.

With Magick, it seems to be similar, and my not too big experiences shows exactly this:
1. Scope of the problem is most important. I think the money spell to get $100 and the one to get a million should not be treated the same way. Getting $100 is easy, you can just ask someone to allow you to walk his/her dog for a couple of hours, and you will quickly earn that $100. But with millions it is a different matter. There are not enough hours to give you millions by walking the dog. So you must create a system that monetizes hours of other people or creates other profitable processes.

2. Competence of the practitioner. As in Software Engineering it is best when the developer understands the scope, so in Magick as well. If you want millions, it is actually much better to be a professional trader, economist or someone else who knows exactly why money works as you already have a good understanding of how the money moves. If not, it is better to actually do the working which would focus your energy towards highest quality knowledge, and get this knowledge first before doing the main working.

3. Tools used. Some tools are definitely better, some might work also on an individual level.

So I think separation of physical actions from the spell is not a good approach. It appears that physical actions, spell itself complement and reinforce each other if done properly, and this is what gives the best result.
