I specifically wanted you gentleman's input, if you are available to answer.

What does it mean to be a leader?

What is required of a man to become a leader of his race and nation?

I have recently had the thought that in order to be a true leader a king must sacrifice himself for his people's sake, which is quite contrary to the common perception of what a king/leader is: selfish, arrogant, glutton etc.

What is the mark of a true leader?

I am not one of these people, but I find it sincerely ironic how people want to be leaders but never:
1) have any knowledge of militaristic leadership
2) have any knowledge of the relevant country (history, culture, economy, finance, politics, organization, society and anthropology)
3) have no contribution to make in terms of personal skills (could you do the specific good things? Are you capable?).

Basically, people don't want to be leaders of anything. They just want to be the motivational shouter with the megaphone.

To be a leader, you need to be able to take responsibility and carry it.

At the same time, you must have your own life in order.

Saturn is the king maker. Leading implies taking control above yourself, above your ego and individuality, towards collective and higher ideals. On animal reign, just the same idea is present, only the perspective is limited and instinctual, still under the authority of mortal morality. When Gods fashion men leaders, they shape them above the mortal perspective. What does this mean? It means one becomes more than himself, one is now a collective. His people, family, community, pursuits, ideals. Leading is creating in couscious fashion and no one leads without being led by higher forces, outside of him or even from within himself.

The issue of making this in philosophy and virtue is that one seeks approval to lead ie. Seeking to be lead into leading. This is called finding oneself, finding the spirit of the Daemon inside them. Leading in practical world is never passive or planned either, but due to necessity and exerted force upon. This means that it can only manifest and grow either by direct judgment and decision to be willing to become the fiery spirit or aim towards it, or become under the circumstances of life. Most abandon under pressure, they do not become leaders, they are meant for the time being to maintain course in being led by the external.

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Shaitan
