I have a scorpio descendant, as well as my 7 house starting about 18 degrees in Scorpio , with both Mars and Pluto in this house, but Sagittarius sign. Pluto aspects venus as my chart ruler which is in the 12th house in Aries, with a strong trine. How can this affect my love life, and how can it be improved, as from what I understand this is not a very good placement..

I am sorry for the late answer, I saw this question only now. I wish to share something.
You obviously have some kind of Scorpio/Pluto related 7th house, which is also empowered by having Mars there.
I saw charts of famous people (men) with Pluto and/or Mars in 7th. They were murdered. Not out of the blew or the accident. Their murder was very well planned. Hitler also had Mars+stellium there as far as I remember and he was attempted many times, his very high Satanic rank saved him. But he faced war. Whole world turned against him but he managed it. I saw very huge imbalanced stellium in 7th house in the charts of the victims of extreme crimes such as month+ tortures before very torturous murder (stellium being not your case though, I am saying it just for example). 7th house is dangerous to have uncontrolled amount of energies there and/or Pluto because too powerful prominent Pluto might work sometimes as a stellium due to its nature. Mars in 12 is also not good news, especially if it is a ruler of 7th. Any bad degree in 7th is never good news too.
Pluto in chart is a source of power. 7th house being power point may work two ways: either as a source of extreme power on your side or against you if misdirected / wrongly sublimated.
To show case of great exceptionally successful sublimation of Plutonian energy in the 7th HPS Maxine gives the chart of Eve Braun - her 7th house ruler is in 8th (extreme power) in full and best possible realization. This is successful. He seemed to wonderfully sublimate it via his professional endeavors, he worked against war all his life though was never murdered or mutilated in any of the two world wars. Though his family life was never settled I consider this case successful for such an insanely powerful stellium.
Bad examples are Russian Czar Nicolas II (big stellium in 7th) and Evarist Galua (Pluto 7th), both murdered for political reasons.
Sagittarius is religion and opinion related. You have to be careful to not deal with any xian / moslen / enemy as partners in any sphere and keep your beliefs to yourself. Better sublimate your opinion warfare into well protected anonymous internet environment.
