I have questions regarding planetary squares. Answers for such questions I did not happen to find in our JoS sites. I would assume that maybe all of this is irrelevant, but somehow intuitively I feel that this is relevant given that we clearly separate when it is good to start the square, and when the conditions are bad, etc. And I think that before even trying to perform any square, I need to study them enough. Clearly, I would be unable to focus well enough doing the square if I had even the slightest doubts about its efficiency. So I need to study. Thank you in advance for your answers.
1. Is it necessary for the planet to be in the ideal/satisfactory sign for the whole duration of the Square? For instance, if I would start the Sun Square at Virgo 10 days before it enters Libra, would it be ok? Or should I ensure I start the Square when the planet is in the ideal/satisfactory sign for the whole duration of the square?
2. We know that planetary hours occur twice per day, i.e., during the day time and the night time. Is it important to keep consistency of the day times when performing the square? For instance, if I start the Sun Square at day time, should I guarantee that my timing would always be during the day time each day I perform this square? Or is it enough to just make sure that the planetary hour is right, but it can be like night, day.
3. Is the day/night time important for the material/spiritual square? If so, when do we start the material square? During day/night? And same question for the spiritual square.
4. Take Sun Square for example. It is mentioned it is ideal to start it at the following signs - Aries and Leo. First of all, which sign is better and why? Then, it seems we can deduce it is ok to start the square at Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces. How can we know which signs from the "ok" category are better, and which ones are worse? In other words, can we clearly understand why Taurus might be better for the Sun Square instead of Gemini (or maybe vice versa?)? Or maybe we should follow the following rule, i.e., ignore so-called "ok" signs unless we are in dire situation that we need to square to fix it, but if we are good enough, just wait for the ideal conditions to manifest? Finally, why Libra and Aquarius are bad signs for Sun Square. What would happen to someone who still would start the Square under such signs? Nothing at all? Or maybe some bad situations would manifest?
