Working on the Throat chakra helps with self-expression, communication, emotional expression, and creativity. It also rules over psychic hearing.

You can always add visualization to these asanas, by focusing on the chakra and it’s color, or the color and brightness of the Sun if you prefer.

Simhasana
. This might look crazy but it works. Really stretch your tongue not just out and down, but also try the best you can to flatten it along the top, to stretch to the sides. Open your mouth as much as you can. Breath evenly through your mouth.

Shoulder stand, with feet apart, about 30 degrees, or 2-3’ wide. While in shoulder stand, move your feet apart and feel for yourself where the “sweet spot” is.

Plow pose, excellent to do immediately after shoulder stand as a flow. You do not have to get your feet to the floor behind you, keeping them parallel (perpendicular to the floor) is fine.

Fish pose. Keep your legs engaged. Info: https://www.ekhartyoga.com/media/images/articles/content/Fish-Pose-Matsyasana-Ekhart-Yoga.jpg

Following Fish, this next one is from Kundalini yoga. Come into Tuck pose and do breath of fire, while focusing on your throat chakra. Make sure to keep your shoulders down, and not hunched up to your neck. Side note, this asana is also good for digestion.

After you are done, sit normally, either cross-legged or on a chair, and do some slow head rolls in each direction, about 8 seconds per rotation. You can now do Yogic Humming Breath followed by a mantra to empower your Throat chakra.

For the more experienced, Chin Stand. Formidable Face would also be good, but it is for the very advanced. I won't include images of these, you can look them up yourself if you are experienced with yoga.

Great timing! There's a lot trauma that has affective my throat chakra really bad. Pretty sure my dreams have been telling me this as well. I would have weird dreams about my teeth falling out, out of no where having a lot of screws stuffed in my mouth without any memory of how they got there, or in a situation where I wanted to call out for help but couldn't make a sound or with all my might only muster a whisper. This post was greatly needed!

I haven't had those dreams in a while since I have been cleaning my soul everyday now but the trauma has yet to be fully wiped away but I'm having good feelings about this.

I quickly did the first asana and felt an instant soothing feeling in that area.

Also I chuckled when I first saw the first photo and laughed even more when you acknowledged it look a little crazy  It works though!

Thank you Miss Lydia :D :D

P.S. For those who haven't read the other threads Lydia made, I highly recommend. The one about the Base Chakra helped me out getting rid many years of repressed anger.

Thank you, you are the best Lydia!

Thank you for the info lydia! glad to see i do most of these already although the others are duly noted now and added! i must have missed the solar plexus chakra series?

Wonder if there is any correlation between Simhasana and the aheago face that was trending. dumb though but curious

Thank you, Lydia!
I am always find your posts very informative and helpful, even tho I never say anything, but this time timing is perfect and I can't stay silent any longer.
I've been doing most of this intuitively(almost), this is a great indicator that I am going in the right direction.

Yes def good timing, I hope there will be a solar chakra compilation next. I look forward to these yoga posts.

I'm glad to be of help for all of you. Solar will be fairly extensive with some kundalini yoga exercises in it, so I might post 6th and Crown in the meanwhile as there are not many for those. I did post one for the Solar about 4 years ago in the previous forum. There's one for the aura that I might do too.

Please do add the one for the aura as well. Your sharing of your expertise is a welcome and blessed gift.

The first image reminded me of exactly where my mental maturity is at. Didn't know plow pose was throat chakra focused though, explains why I have a slight buzz there after sessions. Can't wait to incorporate the rest of them and see what magick happens (literally?) Much thanks.

I didn't know I was actually doing the Simhasana lol. The exact movement is part of Chi Self Massage. I'll post detailed Instructions on the Chi Self Massage in the coming days. It is important and useful to know as it removes blockages both in the chakras as well as in the organs. I had regularly constipations and took different kinds of meds to deal with it, as my bowl used to get used the same kind of medications and it became ineffective. The Chi Abdominal Massage which is part of Chi Self Massage helped me with this, I now have normal bowl movement and take a pit at least once every 2 days and don't take any meds anymore for my bowl movement.

Thank you, Lydia! I was looking forward to this since you mentioned it to me haha
I actually had it on my to-do list to reply to that message soon to say the same, and I had it in mind not that long ago. Funny timing.

How about doing fish pose like this? http://www.pinklotus.org/-%20KY%20Postures%20Fish%20Pose.htm I think this is more effective, but also a bit more difficult.
That variation would be difficult on the knees especially, so the trade-off might not be worth it for most people. Have you tried it like that?

You can "repay" me by advancing yourself ;) That's what my time is for, to help my fellow SS advance themselves :)

I'll keep at eye out for your post on the Chi Self Massage, it is wonderful how we can heal ourselves with this knowledge (yoga, Qigong, etc) :)

Yes, the plow pose aligns the body so the energy flows to the throat, and it's nice to have the forward bending to balance the opposing poses, with stretching the throat upwards instead :)

This is quite the synchronicity. I have been recently experiencing discomfort in my throat and I have just restarted doing Hatha. It's like 'someone' told me "Alrighty, include this as well."

Thanks, Lydia. <3
Have you noticed an improvement yet? :)

Yes, I did the fish like it has been posted by you and most others for quite some time, but I swapped the asana to that one as of this year and I like the bend way more. It is more difficult, yes, but also more rewarding. Works for me. I encourage others to try if it fits them, but not to go over their limits.

I sure did. My throat cleared after two sessions -- even though I was initially hesitant to breath through my mouth.

It's this entire yoga script for the throat chakra the only thing I'll need to permanently activate my astral hearing? Or is there more

Which mantra should I use? (Concerning boosting astral hearing.)
And lastly once finished what affirmation should I say after the mantra??, That I can also adjust for the 3rd eye Thanks a lot.
Hail Satan!

Working on your astral senses is something that concerns working on your soul on a whole, instead of simply focusing on one or two parts. The chakras are supposed to work in tandem, and putting too much priority on one area will create imbalance.

I think all the relevant mantras are available on this forum and JoS. The affirmation you should figure out yourself. The framework of how and when (positively and happily/ harmoniously and beneficially and now, continously, forever, etc) is already laid out in JoS. Only thing needing to be added is what you want.

But all of these yoga sets confined takes 4+ hours to do everyday. Wouldn't focusing on the ones you need and vibrating satansas on the ones you don't need be enough to balance them enough

Because I just wanted to open my astral senses enough to get to hear the gods instructions & continue advancing from there.

Or will the imbalance be dangerous??
What's an imbalance like or similar to?
Thanks

are the meditations permanent or do you have to continuously meditate or the effects will fade away (like a unused muscle)?
Cause I'm sure the benefits out way the time needed for meditation.. What's your point of view on this & how long can it take to reach god head as this empowers all chakras ?

There is no need to do all of these daily. You do what is required for you personally instead.

Imbalance can be unpleasant, and indirectly dangerous.

All skills require constant practice, or else they will fade.

I can not comment on the timeframe to reach Godhead. That is something you should consult your GD.

As much/long as you seem personally fitting, within reason. We are individuals and so our needs vary.

Hello. Thank you very much for your yoga routines. I'd like to ask three questions.

1. Is it possible for someone to be creative and very good at communication, but to have a throat chakra blockage?
2. Is there any good alternative for the fish pose? It always hurts my lower back, no matter how I do it (I had even watched a video on how to do it properly, but still felt pain).
3. Since it's not recommended to do inverted asanas while on your period, will it be okay if we do half of these asanas during that time or will the energy be too weak? Should we add extra mantra time for the throat (Haum? Or Thurisaz to unblock it?)?

Thank you. 🙏

Hello :)

1. Creativity is from the Sacral, not the Throat. But many people are good at communication yet have closed chakras, so yes, it is possible to still be good at communication.

2. You can leave it out. But if you do it, make sure you're using your abs to support your back, and tighten your thighs for balance.

3. Yes, you can do less asanas, or hold the ones you do for longer, or just do less yoga overall for those days. I just do less. And some women are able to do inversions while on their period, I'm just mentioning this for anyone else reading.

3b. Yes, you can do more mantras to compensate, or just take it easier for a few days. We don't need to do the exact same things every day, the body is organic and fluctuates naturally anyway, so we can also adjust ourselves as needed.

Amazing info here, and I was just looking for a change to my Hatha sessions. Greatly appreciated, HPS Lydia!
I already meditate on one Chakra a day, I might do a different Yoga session for each Chakra each day, while also adding some asanas that I've found just generally useful.
