I'm slightly confused about Yoga Practice, even after 5 years.
I have always done the basic routine posted by Maxine. Can these replace that basic routine, or should the basic routine still be done if one of these is done?

It's your choice. Did you ever go to gym and followed a schedule? If yes, you will understand better what I want to say. There are people wich are doing the full body in a session or splitting and working the superior body or the lower, or even one or two muscles per day. With hatha yoga is the same. Depends on your goals, time and so on

I prefer to do a 'full body' when I want to focus on energies flowing and cleaning all the blockages even on the minor chakras. For empowering chakras I would do split. And there are even more specific sessions like doing asanas for the sacral chakra and boosting my sexual drive and energy. If you want more advices you can ask me on our forum so I can express myself better

Interesting, never thought about it like a gym routine, since I have told myself it's not even close due to the info in the PDF.

Since friday, I have decided that I would do the chakra yoga for the day + kundalini. I will try to add some other hatha yoga pose for the mondays (6th) and thursday (crown) since it only one pose. Is it a good routine or would you add more hatha yoga into it?

The photos of the ladies distract me though/: I get that let's go watch porn feeling...

I know I'm a young man but it definitely makes my session harder. (I seriously did not intend that pun either lol)

But the other photos just scream ASS at me.

I feel like such a creep and it gives me this shitty sexual energy feeling. I can't even go on Youtube without ASS popping out of nowhere.

When I visualize my bright Aura I gain my focus back but if I have to continuously look at the photo then I'm back at square one.

I know this isn't normal as I can't see the people on this topic thinking the same thing with every yoga pants containing photo they see.
 

As you advance more, then any overly-sexual "triggers" diminish and you will just see the asana for what it is: the pose, and not the sexual body. Many people are like this, so don't think it's just you :) Most people are at the level of the lowest 2 chakras, and then as we advance, our energy is not so concentrated on the sacral area, and we can see bodies without thinking "omg sex sex sex!!" Lol.

Btw the only reason I use the pictures I did, is because I don't have a lot of time to find better ones. I just use the first one that I see when searching online, pretty much.

The chakras I feel the least are the lower 3, especially the base and sacral. The rest of my chakras except the Clairaudience points I can feel fairly well, especially the 6th-eyes and crown.

I can see the 3D triangle and color of my base and sacral chakra with my eyes closed (not visualizing in my head) better than I can feel them.

My energy is all on the top half, It even flows to the top when I'm breathing through the feet to hold it in the lower chakras.

I guess my top is more open but I'm on the lower level. Gotta start somewhere :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
Hi Lydia

Just want to say thank you for this post, sadly i have stopped doing yoga both Kundalini and hatha when i had to pack and get ready to move as well as move to the new place in feb and don't have any room to do any thing with having to much stuff ect. no storage been like that for 2 months now, when doing them it the past was a chore every day and never felt energies flowing or feeling cleaning all the blockages from chakra if any. don't have any goals or feel don't have the time at all.

Don't feel can achieve any thing any more these days.

Have you ever tried qigong? It might be more effective for you, and will still get your energy flowing. On youtube, type in "Lee Holden 20 minute Morning Routine" or evening routine.

As for cleaning the blockages, meditation will be more effective. Visuddhi (multiple posts have been made on this) into the chakras, and the Opening the Chakras meditations on the JoS.

Do your best to incorporate yoga into your day, especially yang yoga. If you have very little time, do the Tibetan 5 Rites or other solar kriyas, as it sounds like you are in a strong need of more fire.

Hey, Hps Lydia, thank you for this thread!

I’ve been having trouble with all my male chakras but especially struggling with my Sacral but feeling more inclined to work on my Solar more because it helps me reach my goals faster.

Was checking this thread, would’ve loved if there was an option for Yoga that helps with all male chakras.

Would you have nay suggestions to help more with male chakras?
Doesn’t have to be just yoga either, any advice would be appreciated. :)

Hello :)

You can pick and choose from the asanas for those chakras that I linked to. Also try Lingam Mudra, it will help with the masculine chakras and side of the soul.
