Yes the sun will die in a couple billion years, that's just part of any star's life cycle. But we do of course have plenty of time to advance our technology, although on a universal scale it may still be a race against the clock. Eh, let's wait and see what happens.

It will die in a few billion years. But in that time Humans and the Gods will be so advanced I have no doubt in my mind That we could stop it. I mean, 4 BILLION years. That's a crazy amount of time to technologically and spiritually advance. Plus, our empire will be so large in 4 billion years that if we had to we could just leave this solar system.

The gods evolved through millions of years of evolution. 4.5 billion years is a fuck ton longer than that. Even if the sun died billions of years from now which eventually all stars do, the war would already have been over for hundreds of millions of years at least.
Remember how quickly civilization advanced in Germany when Hitler kicked out the jews?Just imagine how much we could accomplish in 1 year's time, 5 year's time, 10 year's time with no jews holding us back!
Even if this fear porn of the sun exploding billions of years from now is true to the letter we would already be exponentially more advanced than we are now and would be able to find a new planet long before then.

I don't think this can count as fear porn unless your not a Satanist, in which case it would be. We though understand that tech and spiritually both can get very far a head in that time and know that we can go to a new solar star. It is just the way of it for all stars come to an end and then some where a new start will eventually be born. Not to mention this is all physical. Even if your body were to die at the level of a god you could just recreated it. So this is simply a fact turned into doomsday for weak xains.
