Hi,
I just decided that I'll learn astrology. But I think I read somewhere in this website/forum that one needs his accurate time of birth to know his astrology. I don't know the time of my birth. Not anyone in my family knows the exact time either.
So what can be done in this case?
Thanks.
If you know the day and location, this will show the majority of your signs of each planets, with only the moon or others which fall on the cusp of signs being unknown. Certain degrees might shift by 1, as well. The aspects will also be relatively accurate.
Now, from here you should look at major planets, like Saturn. Besides the influence of the sign, try to think where you have received the most difficulty in life. This might require reading through the descriptions of the houses.
Then, input a random time for that day, but shift the clock to the house you believe is correct and repeat the self-analysis until you are sure your Saturn is in a good spot. From here, you then look at other planets and makes sure they also match. Just repeat this process.
It might sound tedious, but it is also a good way to learn about astrology whilst getting the exact time. At some point, you can ask your GD for verification, too.
I thought there was some other resource on natal chart rectification around here, perhaps by HPS Lydia, but I cannot find it from a basic search.
