Why machines like cars… complicated.

Why do machines for example like cars or motorbikes have their structural mechanisms to be so complexed with arrangements of so many different tiny and big parts to make one part ???

I always feel that these things can be done in a way more simpler way.. I feel there is too much unnecessary chunks/tiny parts included in making one part which can be avoided and I think there is surely a possibility to create these mechanisms , structures more SIMPLER , that’s what I FEEL.

I was watching a motorbike engine assembling video and I was stunned and perplexed and felt tired at the same time seeing the guy assembling so many parts to make the engine for a motorbike. The engine was of average size.

Every other time I get faults in my car so I watch the mechanic do things and it makes me think that we are wasting so much time, resources and energy in these machines by making it work through assembling several tiny to large size of parts.

What do you think… this can be made more simpler

Yes, indeed, modern manufactures makes everything overly complex and not serviceable, so you use it, wears out fast, and buy a new one.

To be simple, they make the parts bad quality, so they wear out fast, and they make it impossible to change that part, so you need to change the whole car.

For example, they steam a material to the cylinder wall, that wear out fast, and if that happens there won't be compression anymore, and you can't steam that material to the cylinder again, so the whole engine but usually the whole car goes to the trash

Yes cars could be made less complex and more serviceable, but usually there are a lot of parts because there are a lot of function in the car. If we want less parts than there would be less functionality, but me personally I don't need seat heating, cameras, automatically opening doors, and these luxury stuff. I'm perfectly fine with the functions that a 2107 Lada has, and these cars for example is very easy to fix. The problem with old cars is that they wear out fast, so a modern made car with not much functionality, that is made to go as long as it's possible, would be the best. So yes basically cars could be made much better.

The old Folkswagens are also good ;)

Every one of these pieces has a true purpose and is required for it to work correctly. And these machines need to actually work in a true and logical way, not just imagining that they will magically work on their own.

All of these kinds of machines work in a pretty simple way if you look closer at smaller pieces. If you look at one piece at a time, you can see what it is doing and how it is working. Then when you understand multiple of these smaller locations within the machine, you can start to see how they are connecting and working together. And it becomes much easier when you are not overwhelmed by trying to look at too many things at one time.
