In the new year, 2024, I realized something that changed me a lot.
A subject that I was prejudiced and believed in with all my heart.
That was love.
I believed in love a lot. A love like novels and stories and a legendary love.
I know that love like in novels and fairy tales is rarely found or does not exist.
But I had found it one day..
my question is. Why is there no more love between people like years ago?
Why has the concept of love changed and become something much lower and weaker?
Why has cheating become normal?
Why are there so many breakups in romantic relationships and no one believes that they will find someone who is always going to live together?
I am someone who is very committed and in all my relationships I have not been one to think about breaking up.

Nowadays, it seems to have become abnormal to try to take the time to build a loving relationship. I remember a few years ago a girl I hadn't seen for a long time, after telling me she was pansexual, gender fluid and no-binary (I don't understand the difference between these last two), she explained to me that: I am a demisexual person, my sentimental and sexual behavior is not "normal", and tried to convince me that I was part of the lgbtq+ universe (the description of demisexuality fits me very well, but it's just a way of being ).

100% can confirm it's also the same on the homosexual side of things. That's how my last relationship died. No effort from the other party. The world is in a different place right now. People generally are more stressed due to inflation largely because of the war in Ukraine that the West is throwing money at which mostly has lined the pockets of politicians who only further the war effort. This money has been like throwing gasoline on a fire.

Aside from economic stresses, people since the pandemic have been streaming more content and going to the theatre less. Hollywood took a nose dive during the pandemic, albeit they are bouncing back somewhat ($8 billion 2023 compared to around $11 billion of 2015 to 2019 in gross box sales).

All of these movements cause ripple effects in society. I think people are often afraid of being truly genuine because television/media encourages cynicism, division, drama and so forth. Too many in our world absorb these ideas into their subconscious like a sponge and start believing that it's everywhere around them and that it is reality when really it's not.

I can't really say much regarding these things because I haven't watched television or MSM for years. I trust that above members' comments are accurate about how television promotes racism in just as much as it promotes miscegenation, something that's been a long time in the making. Overall, love is still out there and I've made some very positive connections and interactions with others as of late. It's just a bit more 'hit-or-miss' compared to pre-2020. I agree with this and if I was to add my own perception: Many people do not even try to date due to these reasons of video games, and so on, as although they have some benefits, they are also like a corruption of the 5th house, and therefore ruins social interactions and dating.

Many people simply don't have experience and therefore don't feel confident. It is not that they don't like the other gender, but if their attention was held by video games during their teen years, as opposed to going to the school football game, then they just never gained the experience, or rather they only gained video game experience.

Agreed, getting breast implants is the worst thing a woman can do to herself. Apart from what you wrote, because it is incredible important, but there are also many other complications and risks associated with it. It's a terrible idea to harm yourself this way. In some way I can understand where this problem comes from, although I absolutely do not support getting breast implants. Many women are ridiculed for having small breasts by men and also by women. I had a friend in class who was teased and bullied because of this. I once overheard her saying that she would decide to undergo such a procedure.
