Why is Satan male?

Might be a silly question, but why is Satan a male exactly?
In other cultures and traditions we see females being the ultimate creator for obvious, why is it in satanic culture he is seen as male? How did we figure that out. Thank you heaps!

The most immediate answer is "because he came out male from his mother's womb based on his chromosomal makeup."

But that would be such a basic answer, that it would mean nothing in itself, if one cannot analyze the concept of creative energy, shatki power, what Mother Earth is...there are too many things to consider besides Satan's chromosomal make-up and how Zeus is a Pater Familias and the concept of Pater Familias itself. Perhaps a book would not be able to give you an answer as precise as the one you are looking for. At least for now.
