why does everyone say ill be killed?

everybody i see as "friends" tells me i will be possesed and everything else, i can not get thru to them, what do i tell people about MY choices? how do i demonstrate how real this is? without being seen as a "freak" I usually keep to myself but i dont like being an outcast, how do i get help? please help me...im obviously new in this, i just need to get on the right foot....

It is very seldom that I ever have to deal with such issues from friends or even acquaintances for that matter. It is an odd thing given the fact that I live in the bible belt of the country. Sure, I get the random occasional hate mail from bible-thumping xtians, but even that has become few and far between. Most people I know, even the ones who are xtian, are either very tolerant of my beliefs, genuinely curious and interested in learning about my beliefs, or are just too scared of my beliefs to want the subject to come up. I am not private or secretive about my beliefs by any means. I do proudly wear Satanic jewelery just as xtians were that foul cross all the time. I wear t-shirts with sigils and other Satanic and/or occult imagery. I am a very proud and devout Satanist, and I do my part to make it known. People either stay away from me, or they are intrigued to ask questions, which I gladly answer by directing to information that will dispel the xtian-spewed nonsense and misconceptions of true Satanism.

My suggestion is when they start saying things like that to you, take the high ground and retaliate with intelligence, and make sure they realize that is what you're doing, and you can do so as a result of your beliefs. Two fundamental elements of Satanism, no matter what sect or Order or denomination you wish to follow, are strength and wisdom. Ask them specific questions as to why they think these things about you and your beliefs, and where they got their information. Nine times out of ten, they will be able to offer nothing to back their statements. At that point, you can then stump them by quoting verses from their own bible that may closely resemble what they are saying, then debunk the bible verses with logic, explaining why these verses make no sense. You can take that opportunity to explain the positive things about Satanism, the way it has bettered you as a person, and how it predates xtianity. Show them some sites, such as the Joy Of Satan and let them read some of it for themselves.

They say the things they say because they are ignorant. They have only been exposed to lies and have never taken the initiative to ask themselves or anyone else if there is possibly something else. They've been spoon-fed 2000 years worth of utter horse-shit, and they've accepted it without question. That means they are weak-minded sheep. You are on a path to ultimate truth and self-empowerment. Take pride in that. You can laugh at their ignorance and just shrug it off if need be. If they are "friends", then they will learn to respect you as a friend and they will keep their mouths shut on such topics if they are too lazy to try to understand what they are trying to attack.

I am 46 and have been in the magick business for forever, not to mention a lot of education. People will say all kinds of things, however you might want to be prudent and keep quiet about these things.
to know, to dare, to will, and to keep silent is something to keep in mind. Magickal people are often seen as weirdos or feaks, strange or whatever. People will say things, the masses are not very bright, you need to learn to hold your own with people and probably not do so much advertising. REad, read, read, learn, focus, and stand in your own truth witch no-one can take away from you. Find people like you, they are out there, and remember that most Christians are complete idiots. Find the right people and the right books, stand on your own ground, give people a comeback - tell them you are possessed all the time and make a joke of it. Find new friends.
