Hello Satanic Brothers and Sisters!
After I spend more than half year to write an insanely boring and dry dissertation, I nearly turned my back to writing. A few days of reading lovecraftian stories was enough for me to realise why I started writing in the first hand.
But what to write? Or more likely, what worth to be written? I can imagine writing a romantic-lyrics story where you portray the Gods as they really are, like The club Dumas. Problem is, I tried that last year, but I stopped around 20 percent. I felt as the story get weaker with each page, I havent really planned everything, and I constantly had to change my original plans for the new ideas I got on the way. Im proud of the first chapter, not so much for the second, everything after that is a mess.
What I really like to write is small, Lovecraftian horror stories, with a big punchline at the last sentence. I did some similar, those where I havent felt like a labor work. A lot of times even try to paint the monster or the antagonist a very jewish-like creature, but never directly saying that out. I dont want to write these just for myself, and these stories mostly have a dark grimm tone. I could only show the positive aspects like in a Fromsoft game. A little light in a dying world.
My question is, would something like this worth publishing? I dont want to write just for myself, but Im out of ideas. I can do a lot more, I just dont know if its worth the time.
Thanks for your answers.
