What is true about the adrenochrome conspiracy?

Recently I've been wondering what the adrenochrome theory is really about.
There are certainly films that address this topic, such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or even have the title Adrenochrome from 2017.
There are also passages in The Simpsons about Mr. Burns etc. that deal with it. The movie "Death Suits Her" is supposed to indirectly allude to the drug.
Adrenochrome is said to be a metabolic product of adrenaline that actually occurs in the human body. It is said to have a mind-altering and rejuvenating effect.
But what is right about the elite consuming the drug? Somehow I have my doubts.
If this stuff really existed, why aren't wealthy people like Rothschild, Rockefeller, Soros, Gates, Kissinger etc. taking it? Some of them may be getting very old, but they also look correspondingly worn out. By no means do they have a youthful appearance.
The financier and member of the Rothschild banking family, Lord Jacob Rothschild, only died at the age of 87 and also looked old and ugly.
Children are said to be tortured in underground bunkers for this. But honestly, I haven't seen any pictures of it yet.
Can anyone dispel or confirm my doubts?

I knew that they don't physically ingest blood but feed off the energy released by terror, crying and screams of the children that they kidnap, rape and kill during their rites against gentiles. It's good that you weren't able to post it. Your description is enough for me, I don't want to put myself through such cruelty. I know Podesta, Maxwell, Epstein and their ilk quite well.
