Hello everyone,
back in a time when I was going through JoS, Expanding the Sushumna page, I have read something interesting.
Tibetan monks would be tested for initiation by stripping down naked, wrapping themselves in a wet sheet, and spending the night in the freezing mountains, sitting in the snow. In the morning, if the initiate passed the test, the sheet would be bone dry and several feet of snow around the monk would be melted.
From that moment I wanted to hunt down some more informations, especially in form of a video. The one above is one of the few and so far the best I could find. It seems to be both interesting and useful. Interesting because it shows what an experienced meditator is capable of in connection to western science, and useful because, speaking from my experience, it serves good as a proof to other people when I talk about possibilities of meditation - to see it is to believe it.
I think it's also IMPORTANT to add at this point, that anyone watching have to keep in mind that not everything presented in this video is of a satanic origin. Quoting from Satanism's Origins in the Far East:
IMPORTANT! MOST OF THE TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES OF THE ANCIENT RELIGIONS HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED. IGNORE THEM. THE EXERCISES, SUCH AS THOSE IN HATHA AND KUNDALINI YOGA, BREATHING EXERCISES, MARTIAL ARTS EXERCISES, ETC., THESE ARE ANOTHER MATTER AND THEY ARE VERY POWERFUL IN RAISING THE SO-CALLED WITCHPOWER, VRIL, CHI. THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF SATANISM.

In Normandy, France in summer of 2001 a similar reaserch called "100-Day Tum-mo" was carried out. Some information could be find here: Mind controls body in extreme experiments (The Harvard Gazette) or here: 100-Day Tum-mo Meditation Research in Normandy by Loel Guinness, Kalpa Group. My question is, does anyone know if any footage from that research is publicly available online?
Let me know what you think.
