Well I have read that section of the site somewhat extensively and I don't think it explains what a transit is. I've also read all of Blackdragon's astrology lessons and I don't think it was covered in them. Where is a good offsite place to learn?

And then learning how to identify good ones vs bad ones? What's a good website to learn from? I get you're saying it's a comprehensive knowledge and I need to study it, but where?

Astrology needs “immersion” and verification, through many comparisons, to understand how the planets work.

Some functions you only understand with time and practice, and by looking at the results on people. One example is about Saturn and Neptune, I have noticed that many people, are completely or lack of knowledge, or go “random,” or have information, knowledge, completely wrong, which causes Neptune and Saturn to weaken, bring problems in the areas they are in.

I have known people with Saturn in 2nd for example, not understanding at all the function of money and its real management, with disastrous results in their own lives. Some of them, were doing the exact opposite, of how one should manage one's economic resources.

All planets can be “positive” or “negative.” This depends on many factors. Jupiter itself identified as “benefic” and “Saturn” as “malefic,” actually both have octaves contrary to their “labels.”

With Jupiter one can experience “negativity” just as with Saturn one can experience “positivity.”

I'm struggling to find enough information on the forums/site.

What does sextile/square/trine etc mean? Is there any educative material on that anywhere in JoS?

What is a planet to planet transit vs planet to house?

How am I supposed to know a transit is coming? Do I look at the JoS calendar to know when a planet switches houses and then look up the transits on each of those days?

The section on JoS is not for people who don't know astrology, it's basically just the right interpretation of astrological things that an experienced astrologer can use instead of the mainstream interpretations. Look into astrology books to know the definition of these terms. Or just search up each term.

Transits can be read by putting the current sky's chart into your own natal chart. Let's say, the currect sky's moon is at 3 o'clock, and your 6th house is at the same exact place, than Sun is transiting your 6th house. If the current sun is trine aspecting your moon, than this is also a transit, it doesn't have to conjunct / "go over" it.
