My lunch hour for work is an hour long but it feels like 5 min and rest of the day goes extremely slow but my lunch break so feaking fast. Why is that?

Feelings of calmness and excitement can make time perception appear faster, while if there is struggle, it all appears longer.

because while on break you're not worrying about time or about when break is by constantly checking the time. and during work youre probably constantly checking time and wondering/expecting break time? a
This is the case for me, i work 12 hours and i figured out that forgetting about time and not checking the clock makes work go by alot faster. i usually wait until my other coworkers start heading to the breakroom, they usually leave in groups, i dont talk to anyone at work but sometimes theyd twll me that its break time. around the 7 hour mark i get restless or i start to worry about time, i try to notice this and focus on the moment, reminding myself to forget about time and before i know it. its time to go. I really hope i get to master this because its so annoying worrying about time for whatever reason, i wish i could stay in the moment like all my other co workers.

for me, when i get the urge to check it. i realize this urge, then i slowly try to calm down and let it go because i have nothing else to do but my job, might aswell build up your Willpower by practicing patience without getting annoyed or restless about time. Being distracted in your jobbeven if its boring always helps just refocus, take a deep breath and take time slow. on purpose take time slow and relaxed. i work a shit warehouse job for 12 hours. i love working but it does suck and i also struggle with it sometimes. hope you start practicing being patient, as i will keep practicing too!
