Hello My Dear Sisters and Brothers

There is a problem with protonmail. I can log in via the protonmail application and browser only thanks to the proton VPN. Without proton VPN, it gives an error when I try to enter neither the application nor the browser. What is the reason of this ?

Have a nice evening. ^^

Sounds like the government of the country you live in has the website blocked.

You can potentially get access without a VPN by using different DNS servers. Depends on to what extent your ISP has blocked access if they have done it in the first place and it's not some other technical setting.

Excuse me but I don't understand anything ? These terms are foreign to me.

There have been several problems with protonmail lately explicitly regarding password retrieval for this forum...other users have also had trouble successfully receiving and sending emails. It sounds like what Olly said IMO in this case. I would continue logging on with your VPN. It appears they oy veys are trying to get around people having privacy, as protonmail is encrypted and the emails cannot be traced.

Dns servers translate ip addresses to understandable language for us. For example ancient forums is actually a ip address that is connected to so we can view this page. Thanks to dns servers we do not have do remember number combinations like 123.456.999.000. We instead type ancient-forums.com to the address bar and let the server do the work for us.

And isp stands for internet server provider.
