Anton LaVey's Satanism doesn't believe that Father Satan exists even if their rituals seem loke they're dedicated to him. You should rather go to joyofsatan.org and read what is written there. There's aa dedication ritual (light a candle, read a prayer, sign your name in blood (or at least smear some of it over the name), burn the paper). We are in no way associated with this book although people have read it. In some of the books there are rituals which bind our demons to Yehova or Yahweh or what you want to call this thing, since it incorporates Hebrew.
Advice is then as well: STAY AWAY FROM THESE RITUALS.

In regards to the above mentioned I'd say go and read the writings of Anton LaVey for yourself. Knowledge is power! This will help you learn and see for yourself the amount of faecal matter that is actually allowed to be published to the masses! There are many issues with what Anton did, ie: As mentioned by the others on the group, he sees Father as a non-real entity. He classifies us (humans, gentiles) to be nothing more than animals with primitive instincts. He's paranoid as heck! But what really got me going as I furthered my own research, majority of Anton Szandor LaVey's writings or "teachings" are in actual fact plagiarized to the max (the rest being of his own unproven theories) which, surprise surprise, coincides with the teachings of the Judaic religions of the world, hence it was made public, churches have been erected etc etc etc. This is all a plot and ploy to entice those who are without to "follow" Father sheepishly and offer our energies to the enemy. Heck I could go on and on about this but I'd need to write a novel!

Anyways, there's nothing true or real about theistic Satanism that, and we have absolutely close to nothing (I say this as they use parts of our way to make it seem legit and more appealing) in common with their filthy religion and degrading texts! They're more of a religious cult than anything else really.

Jamesmcl your views are incorrect for the same reasons others mentioned..

Sure you are allowed to believe what you want, we don't force anyone to free themselves from xian programming and enemy influence and we don't force anyone to meditate and aquire the powers of the mind and soul that have been held back by the enemies influence over the world. 

We don't force you to start working on your soul and empowering yourself so you can one day become a real god like our Gods and demons. 

You are free to believe in the nonsense lavey speaks of, you are free to believe in the insanity that is pisslam or xianity or jewdaism. 

That doesn't mean you are right however if you believe in these things. 

Just read for yourself what Spiritual satanism really is and what it really does for you, and compare that to the nonsense spoken of by this so called and extremely blashpemous "church of satan". 

You can see the difference immedietly and if you are intellugent in the slightest you can see which of the two is the better way to go. 

There is only one truth and not many people can comprehend that one truth. The only truth is Satan and not people who corrupt Satans name and teachings. People like lavey are completely deluded and no different from xians. 

Calling yourself a satanist doesn't make you a true satanist. 

I can kill a hundred children and call myself innocent. That doesn't make my innocent. I can hide the fact I have done it by removing all information and evidence that I've done it, but that doesn't make me innocent. 

Same goes for laveyan crap. Just because he calls it Satanism doesn't make it any more like the real thing.
