The Palace - a poem for Lady Mastema
"The night is dark, the air is cold, people withdraw into themselves,
Shivering from the cold, souls who have lost everything,
Because there is no justice without you,
For those who do not know how to listen, the cosmos is silent,
But with every passing second the universe whispers;
"A queen, a palace and a kingdom",
All this is enough to recreate the universe.
Those who know this write their name on a scroll with their blood,
Those who do not know, go forever into nothingness.
The whole galaxy awaits your arrival;
Only then will the birds begin to sing,
Only then will water give life to nature,
And all men say: "My war is over!"
The night whispers, one by one, to the shades of the darkening night,
So that it will never be dark again.
The sun brings good tidings to a humanity whose lights are going out piece by piece,
So that they never close again.
Because...
Even if the night turns dark and the sun never rises again,
The light of Your Palace always shines on the faces of the lost."
