The void rune was introduced by the enemy to throw off the numerological balance of the rune. Its function in the past has always been performed by the Perthro rune (#14).
As for the Odin rune, this can refer to a number of runes such as the aforementioned Odhal but also Ansuz.
The aettir division is based on the God/Goddess that rules the first rune in the series. It's a series of eight runes. The first starts with Fehu, which is ruled by Freyja (Inanna); the second one starts with Hagalaz, which is ruled by Heimdall (not sure yet who he was in the major civilisations); the third one starts with Tiwaz, which is the rune of Tyr (this is Lord Azazel in my opinion, but I am not sure yet).
This threefold division represents the threefold division of the natural world. For an in-depth explanation of this, I suggest you read the sources provided at the bottom of the
page describing each rune on JoS. If you had read them, you would know the answer already.
After you have read them, you can verify everything written in the books by connecting to the energies of the runes. A simple and basic way to do this is:
1. Go into a trance. This ensures you tune in the feminine, spiritual side of the soul, increasing your awareness and receptivity/openness.
2. Clean yourself. This makes sure the energies flow freely and lingering foreign energies do not interfere.
3. Raise your energies. This makes sure your spiritual awareness reaches its peak and also increases your protection from enemy interference, and interferences of all kinds.
4. (Optional) Vibrate the Perthro rune a few times (this rune helps you discover secrets about the runes). No need to overdo this. Even as little as 14, 28 or 42 reps will suffice.
5. (Optional) Ask your Guardian Demon to help you in this endeavour. His job to teach you, guide you and support your learning. So, there is no need to hold back when it comes to learning experiences like this.
6. Visualise the shape of one of the runes in your mind, and see it shining bright.
7. You can then either enlarge it so it becomes so big you can enter it, or you can connect your aura to to it, or whatever comes most natural for you to connect to it. It's like void meditation: you focus on it.
8. Any instruction that comes, let it come freely. Do not block it, do not discard it, do not obsess over it either.
If you are doing multiple runes in one session, clean your energies before moving from one to another. This prevents confusion and meddling that may be caused by lingering energies of the previous rune.
More advanced ways are about splitting the soul before you connect with a rune.
