What do people mean by like "dont go to the light" when they are dying. Does this have anything to do with Satan?

SS=Spiritual Satanist. Duat is also known as Hell and is located within Orion's belt. I'm not really sure about the light though.

"Going to the light" is I guess supposed to be going to "Heaven" or maybe just any afterlife place you expect to be welcomed into.  When you die, you supposedly find yourself in a dark tunnel, with the end being full of light. Going there means you cross on from this world to the next. Some say it is the physical experience you undergo when you die, & don't know what the light is.

All I can think of when I hear, "Don't go to the light!"" is "Don't go to the light, Carol Ann!" I watched too many corny/bad movies as a child.
