This is a way of thinking I've suffered from for years and is likely a problem some here could be dealing with without realising it, so I thought I'd make a post addressing it.
Gnostic Thinking as I call it is an extreme form of victimhood where you believe the whole universe is against you (prison planet, matrix). This has been popularised by David Icke more than anyone else, who has made millions preaching about the "evil simulation." The term originates from Gnosticism, a Christian offshoot from the 1st century that incorporated elements of Neoplatonism and added Christian and Buddhist influences to it.
From my past lifetimes, it seems I've always been highly spiritual and neglected the material. It's easy to fall into this line of thinking when every world religion is anti-materialist in some way. I've taken an evolutionary path that destined me to poverty, but I am in the process of rectifying this and will give some advice on how you could do that as well if you've found yourself in a similar position.
The allure of Gnostic Thinking is that it mixes truth with exaggerated falsehoods. It lures you in through sceptical thought that something in this world is off, which is correct. This world is full of corrupt people making it worse and the masses are indeed sheep. However, it takes things to an exaggeration that ultimately works against you. Where things start going into Alice in bullshit-land territory is the whole "everything is fake" talk which ultimately serves as a demotivator to want to improve your life, since it's all "fake". The first blame on why life sucks is on the "Archons" which just mean "Rulers" and was a term originally used for the 7 rulers aka the Planets in astrology. In Gnostic Thinking, archons are usually presented as the reptilians, again Icke's influence on this is quite large. Reptilians do exist and they have played a massive role in making this place worse, but Gnostic Thinking makes them out to be the problem for basically everything and that they "rule" the universe.
The chief target of Gnostic Thinking however is Saturn. If you go down the Gnostic Thinking rabbit hole, you'll inevitably come across the "Saturn Matrix". Saturn is blamed due to misconceptions. It's true Saturnian imagery is used all over this world to bind people to all sorts of things, such as the black cube university graduates put over their heads, the black cube jews put on their foreheads when they pray, or the black cube the Muslims pray in direction to. Saturn however is made out to be the main antagonist in Gnostic Thinking. I think the hatred of Saturn from those types ultimately comes from a hatred of responsibility and a tendency to blame everything but oneself. I had a bad experience a few days ago and descended into a tirade of Saturn hatred for a while until I snapped out of it. Saturn hate also is similar to the oppression narrative parroted by xians and leftists who ultimately took it from the jews, "it's never our fault, it's THEIR(insert "oppressor group" here) fault", never taking any responsibility for their actions. It's always the evil Saturn matrix's fault that the Gnostic Thinker's life sucks. Some begin to think life here is some sort of hellworld or purgatory. The primary goal of Gnostic Thinkers like the 1st century Gnostics is to "escape" the material world since it's all "fake and evil", not that any of them actually end up escaping it. This extremely pessimistic thinking plagued me to the point I considered suicide many times in my life. I'm glad I never took it that far.
It's also a vilification of acquiring material wealth and power itself. Gnostic Thinking conditions the mind to think that acquiring material power is evil, and since money is "fake", it'd be a waste of time anyway. It therefore justifies poverty in the thinker's mind. Hatred of elites can also serve as a hatred of acquiring wealth itself rather than a hatred of moral corruption. It doesn't help if this sort of thinking was reinforced by lifetimes of anti-materialist conditioning which I suspect I fell into. Occultism and Gnostic thinking also go strongly together, but again the occult here is also just lumped in with Saturn and the Archons as a tool of oppression rather than a way to improve your life. Gnostic Thinkers usually end up adopting corrupt, ignorant and useless forms of spirituality that get them nowhere and will more than likely open them up to the enemy who will try to make everything worse.
What Gnostic Thinkers need more than anything ironically is Saturn, specifically the energy of Saturn that makes them take responsibility for their actions and start building a good material life for themselves. Grounding is especially important.
If you fell in the past for Gnostic Thinking like I did, here are some things you could do:
1) Work on your root chakra, pick one of the mantras and chant it while focusing on your chakra. I've personally started doing the Laum mantra daily on every hour of Saturn(the chakra's planet), 45 mantras per session as that is one of Saturn's numbers. I've found that I can handle it and it has given me positive effects, find what works for you and if it gives you too much energy to handle, try doing the less powerful mantras and build up from there:
You should also focus on strongly cleaning your root chakra. Visualise a ball of white light next to your root chakra and make that light absorb all the negativity from it. After a few minutes, you should feel a sense of cleanliness around that area, depending on how energetically sensitive you are. If you can't feel any energy, then just visualise it and do it for around 3-5 minutes. You will also gain more energy to do things. Do the breath exercise for this chakra as well.
2) Do the Nauthiz rune. You could use the rune's number or a multiplier of it. Program the energy raised from that rune to increase your endurance for material life and motivate you to improve your material conditions. Write an affirmation that works best for this. A 40-day working at least to engrave it on your soul. You could start on the hour of Saturn on Saturday for maximum effect.

3) (Optional, not recommended): Do a spiritual Saturn Square to empower your root chakra. This one is risky however it'll help in empowering your root quickly and powerfully. This is not recommended, however, I've decided to do a Spiritual Saturn Square and will bear the consequences for that. Empowering my root chakra, however, is worth it in my view. Program the Saturnian energy with an affirmation that it empowers your root permanently and positively and that the root chakra energy will drive you to focus on and improve your material life. Again, this is not recommended as there are risks to it, but I'm mentioning it as it is a viable way to empower your root chakra. Make sure Saturn is not in a detriment or fall sign if you decide to do this.
4) Read about the importance of focusing on material life, especially the articles by Lady Maxine and HPHC, such as this one:
There are many more. It'll help get you out of this Gnostic Thinking, read more articles about materialism here if you wish, use the "Find" tool to find the articles quickly:
5) Finally, dedicate fully and positively to a good material life. Never give up. Always endure and keep striving till you succeed. Look for good work, learn new skills, start a business. You CAN succeed! The whole world is NOT against you. You're not THAT important to have the whole universe conspiring to make you fail. It's also quite narcissistic to think like that. Cut it and get to work! Look back to your successes, however small, to motivate you to believe you can succeed. Self-esteem and confidence issues go hand in hand with Gnostic Thinking.
If you want a good spiritual life, ensure you have a good material life first. To have a temple, you need the arches first. No foundation, no temple. The ancients understood this:

The only matrix you need to get out of is the false inner wonderland of Gnostic Thinking. It'll suffocate you more than any Saturnian energy ever will. Escape that false mentality and step into the real world of responsible living. And always remember that the Gods are with you.
