One reason I like the new name ("Temple of Zeus") is because it sounds like an actual physical location rather than the abstraction of simply being Satan's "Joy", which gives it a certain legitimacy as a religious establishment.

According to ChatGPT, the Temple of Zeus (the tourist location) will receive upto 250,000 visitors this holiday season between June and August. If we add "Temple of Olympian Zeus/Olympieion" statistics on to this, which is a seperate location, it is an additional 240,000... so 490,000 potential leads in total (obviously not all of these will convert, but basically a crap load of people we can reach).

I'm not sure if it matters in our case, but our SEO ranking is being completely dominated by those searching for these tourist spots.

However, it may be possible to "steal" quite a few of these visitors and funnel them into our site by placing QR codes nearby somewhere, I wonder?

This should also improve our SEO rankings, and any future tourist visitors may actually end up on our site instead... by "accident" (muahaha)

Maybe some of our Greek brothers/sisters could do this sort of outreach method.

Actually, the full name of the organization was "Joy of Satan Ministries". "Joy of Satan" was the name of the website. A ministry is a more accurate description than a temple, because it's not physical. A ministry provides spiritual services, outreach and support and is committed to spreading the teachings of a religion/spiritual path. Exactly what it's doing. Its name "Joy of Satan Ministries" in its context it means a ministry that's committed to spreading the truth that Satan is a joyful being and shares his joyful teachings. The only bad thing is that the term ministry used in this way comes from xianity while temple is generic.

I was referring to the website name, which is more relevant in a broader context. I don't think "accuracy" should come at the expense of effectiveness anyhow, especially in this case where both names are technically "accurate".

Also a lot of what you mentioned isn't what newcomers would immediately glean from the name whereas "Temple of Zeus" has an instant and visceral effect, because of its so called "generic"-ness which is in this case actually a strength, since it provides a relational anchor which wasn't really possible with the name "Satan".

It also has a more rhythmic quality and flows off the tongue better, producing a subtle pleasure to speak out loud. There is a sort of "saccadic movement" between each word syllable which gives it a certain "sharpness" whereas "Joy of Satan" just reads kinda clunky. Especially since it's already a weakened version of Satya/Satanas. Literally speak them out loud and you can feel the difference on your tongue/mouth.

I could go on with this autistic analysis, but basically the name is just 10000000x more powerful in literally every way.
