One reason I like the new name ("Temple of Zeus") is because it sounds like an actual physical location rather than the abstraction of simply being Satan's "Joy", which gives it a certain legitimacy as a religious establishment.

According to ChatGPT, the Temple of Zeus (the tourist location) will receive upto 250,000 visitors this holiday season between June and August. If we add "Temple of Olympian Zeus/Olympieion" statistics on to this, which is a seperate location, it is an additional 240,000... so 490,000 potential leads in total (obviously not all of these will convert, but basically a crap load of people we can reach).

I'm not sure if it matters in our case, but our SEO ranking is being completely dominated by those searching for these tourist spots.

However, it may be possible to "steal" quite a few of these visitors and funnel them into our site by placing QR codes nearby somewhere, I wonder?

This should also improve our SEO rankings, and any future tourist visitors may actually end up on our site instead... by "accident" (muahaha)

Maybe some of our Greek brothers/sisters could do this sort of outreach method.

Actually, the full name of the organization was "Joy of Satan Ministries". "Joy of Satan" was the name of the website. A ministry is a more accurate description than a temple, because it's not physical. A ministry provides spiritual services, outreach and support and is committed to spreading the teachings of a religion/spiritual path. Exactly what it's doing. Its name "Joy of Satan Ministries" in its context it means a ministry that's committed to spreading the truth that Satan is a joyful being and shares his joyful teachings. The only bad thing is that the term ministry used in this way comes from xianity while temple is generic.

I was referring to the website name, which is more relevant in a broader context. I don't think "accuracy" should come at the expense of effectiveness anyhow, especially in this case where both names are technically "accurate".

Also a lot of what you mentioned isn't what newcomers would immediately glean from the name whereas "Temple of Zeus" has an instant and visceral effect, because of its so called "generic"-ness which is in this case actually a strength, since it provides a relational anchor which wasn't really possible with the name "Satan".

It also has a more rhythmic quality and flows off the tongue better, producing a subtle pleasure to speak out loud. There is a sort of "saccadic movement" between each word syllable which gives it a certain "sharpness" whereas "Joy of Satan" just reads kinda clunky. Especially since it's already a weakened version of Satya/Satanas. Literally speak them out loud and you can feel the difference on your tongue/mouth.

I could go on with this autistic analysis, but basically the name is just 10000000x more powerful in literally every way.

A temple is not an accurate name for a website, as new people will mistakenly think it is a physical place and ask where is it located. There were enough people who thought the "Joy of Satan" was a temple in a physical location, imagine how worse it will be when a site is literally named "Temple".

I don't think so for 2 reasons:

1)The name Zeus is far less known than Satan. Only mythology students and people in interested in Greek Gods get a strong impression by the name "Zeus".
2)The visceral effect is created by an unusual association: associating a positive word "Joy" with a being who was thought by most people to be negative. This seeming contradiction is what piqued many people's interest, since they were used to associating the name "Satan" with death, gore, blood e.t.c. but not joy or other positive qualities.

That was HPs Maxine's intention.

I'm failing to see how this is a bad thing.

I'm sure it did pique a few peoples interest, but it creates unnecessary barriers which is why the name was changed to begin with. Most people would reject the idea of Satan being a joyful/benevolent being, ESPECIALLY if you directly call him as such, which would only further entrench them in their defensive posture... whereas coming in from the flank with the name "Zeus" bypasses this completely.

Your first reply is unreasonable fear, once people read one page on ToZ or do some research they'll know we don't have a physical temple YET. And also we will. This name has multiple meanings. And claiming that it "does not exist" is ignorance, the ToZ is not merely 1s and 0s flying around in cables and computers. You need to widen your perception and start meditating. You will understand nothing without meditation and Gods rituals.

1. Completely false, everyone knows who Zeus is from childs to adults, it's even in school curriculum. And how is Zeus known? As a GOD! And how is Satan known? As the embodiment of evil and deception. So which is the better association and impression when it comes to outsiders? You start yapping about how you worship daddy Satan and how he is actually good people will turn away from you. But you say you are a pagan and you believe in Zeusz who are also Odin for the Germans and they'll think, that's cool. Or wow I love Greek culture, can you tell me more? Paganism is becoming more and more popular, and that's the ultimate reality of ours, that we are pagans. Like literal reincarnations of them. The name Zeus and Dias is also everywhere, Roman Deus, and that is also in all romantic languages, Baal-ZEVulon, and so on. The Greek culture have been the most revered among higher beings, by Romans also, it have also melted with Egypt in the past, which was the 2 top spiritual civilization. Homeros were also called a Vedic, since spiritual knowledge and everything was constand among these top 3 civilizations. All in all, ancient Greece is also Egypt and Vedic, Romans held them at the highest regard. Ancient Greece have also been at the center of reneisance and classicism, basically the 2 most important historical area in the past when humans returned to our original pagan culture, art, and knowledge.

2. We are moving past that area. Metalheads, "Satanists", and all these are already in the JoS, and everyone who were meant to joing in the kali yuga. Now we are actually targeting a larger audiance, the whole world basically, we are now in the age of aquarius. Spirituality is becoming mainstream, paganism becoming mainstream, that's the nature of the age we are just entering right now as we speak. People are getting the "progressive" mindset, they ain't gonna give a shit about Satan and whatever 80's deathmetal band they are associating this with. Christianity is dead, there is no need to "opposite" it anymore, we are freeing ourself from this association. When people will look into religions and spirituality and we will be on the top thanks to this new update. People will be enligthened by the fact that paganism is one religions and that will ultimately 'sell' this religion. The truth itself sells this religion. Associating with the devil creats unnecessary confusion, now we are very direct about it, we worship ancient Gods. As we did always, nothing changed, but we are shedding the unnecessery association. Like completely unnecessary. This is what we have always been, now we are becoming direct about it.

I don't think this will work, and it's also deceptive. Not to mention I'm doubtful about the legality of this in certain areas.

Activism can take many other forms, much more effective ones.

As for our SEO ranking and search results, nobody would search "Joy of Satan" unless they knew what they were looking for, and even then our old site wouldn't appear at the top.

A quick search of "Temple of Zeus" or "Zevism" on YouTube, shows how much our support has boosted the Temple of Zeus channel in the algorithm.
