Hello guys!!

I've recently purchased Witche's Tarot last month and I've been loving it so far. I feel a deep connection with my Tarot cards as if I've been reunited with an old friend (maybe I did Tarot in my previous lives...) and readings so far I did for myself and my bf have been accurate.

I am hoping to broaden my knowledge and become better at Tarot readings, so if you guys could help me practice - I'd appreciate it immensely!!

Hello dear.
This is great actually. The Tarot will serve you in many ways.

Here are some tips for you, sorry I can't find the link:
HPS Maxine mentioned some things about the usage of Tarot in her older sermons. Things to consider, is that first of all your Tarot should only be touched by you in order to not mess up the energy. Second, your tarot should be kept in a pouch or covering of some kind that is soft, like silk for example. Third, you should perform a consecration ritual on the deck ( it's on JoS, use the mantra AKASHA if you plan on doing the advanced consecration), it is also recommended that you sleep with your deck for around 8 days to really tune it with your energy, place it under your pillow.

There are some really really good posts here on the tarot, use the search function and read through Edward Lonsas posts if im not mistaken.

Also it's best to not do more than 3 or 4 readings with a deck in a day, clean the deck energetically after each reading, and charge it up with energy raising techniques that we have before a reading.

Of course, a trance state before any spiritual activity is always recommended.

And you are right, 3 readings are usually my limit for the day, it's a little draining.

I can't find it, but this is the book she recommended: Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis

You havent seen gaslighting if my words are what you refer to as that.

I dont think anyones special when i call them that. It only means they are another SS. Thats it. I dont have any weird interest in you, or who you are, not even your gender. I only used that word as a general endearing type of adressing someone.
Its not my fault if you feel insecure and pin point on one tiny insignificant part of a whole essay i wrote.

Please stay calm. I don't think Lightning-Wings meant this in a way to upset you. She did not know that you have commonly used the term 'dear', but you should also be mindful that this term is normally used for people close to us.

Because of this, she thought you were trying to get too close to her, but since you didn't intend that, then all is fine.
This is just a misunderstanding; not something that has to become a conflict.

Just be aware that maybe this word means something else to him/her. Maybe English isn't her/his first language and not aware this is just a normal word used to address people like brother/sister.

He/she just said they don't feel comfortable being addressed by it. If you want my opinion it's not the most logical reaction or thought process from LW. You don't have to take this the wrong way and think they are annoyed or attacking you.

I think your heightened sensitivity and reactiveness is because you're going through some stuff and its okay but heightened sensitivity can make a single touch feel like exruciating pain and even trigger ptsd. This is not reality though.

Take your time to get better. We all had our tough moments where we reacted inappropriately. Most of the time SS friends here showed me even then that I am valued and loved then.

We do criticize a lot. Not out of hate and negativity. But out of care and idealism. We never easily or are predisposed to hate a fellow SS.

The misunderstanding is because the word dear can have up to three different meanings depending on the context in which is used.

1. To address someone in a formal way.
2. To mention something that you are fond of or that is important to you.
3. A way of showing affection to your partner.
