I am not vegan, but I find eating vegan food interesting and sometimes even very tasty. Recently, however, I have come across some articles that deal with synthetic meat grown in a laboratory and foods based on insect flour. These topics are generating a lot of debate, both for sustainability aspects and for ethical and nutritional implications.
Synthetic meat, for example, could represent a solution to reduce the environmental impact of traditional meat production, which is one of the main causes of pollution and exploitation of natural resources. On the other hand, insect flour could offer a source of protein with a low environmental impact, but not everyone is ready to welcome it into their diet.
What do you think? Do you believe that these alternatives could really be a good solution for the future of food? I would like to know your opinion on these topics.
