Serious question.

Hi, my name is Phillip and I used to communicate with some of you about 2 years ago. Well that was then and this is now.

I have just about set up my Alter to Father Satan and I am just not sure about the Athame. I pictured it being a some what small tool but looking at what other Spiritual Satanist's had with their alters I was surprised.

For some reason my Alter is all silver and glass and I do believe in things just coming to me as that is how I have acquired what I already have.

I can't consecrate my existing tools until the next full moon and I still don't have an Athame but I really need to get that little bit more closer to Father Satan.

What am I to do?

Why do you need an athame to feel closer to Satan? You know- you can just use your middle and index fingers to trace the pentagrams until you can get an athame. The right athame will find you. Not to worry.

I have been away from the group for a while now but I just like to add that I personally do not use an athame anymore, just middle and index finger like High Priest Jake said. I feel that it is a lot easier to chanel energy without using an athame. My advice is to check ebay and type ritual knife,knife,small sword, magic knife, athame, double edge knife etc...That is how I found mine. You can also go to your nearest occult store or new age store and ask to see their cataloge. Now do not forget to cleanse the athame when you get it specially if you buy it off someone from ebay because they could be wiccans or worst(if possible...well it could be worst if they were jews). If you buy it on ebay make sure you check the size f the item you are buying, if it isnèt listed ask the seller and do not forget to ask what material it is made off specially if you are looking for it to be made of a particular metal.

I really appreciate what you are saying and that is why I was so surprised when I saw what other people were using and the size of them.
I have to be discrete with my practice as I live in shared accommodation.

Yes good question; I don't need an athame to feel closer to Father Satan!
I have the propensity to be an all or nothing type of person and now that I have set up a some what decent alter I just wanted to see it all through.
Interestingly enough all the other tools have just come to me anyway.
