Scared to take the next step

Hello Everyone,I have been studying Satanism for some time now, and I feel like I am being called to this path. Everything within my heart is telling me to do the dedication. But because of my upbringing I still have some of that fear that I was taught. What are your suggestions for how to overcome this? How did you all overcome this?

Those will really get you started, just read them when you have time. Remember to have patience in this path.
Give it time all time to sink in, because it will take time.

You know, ive been through some shit honestly and found myself depressed. Once i got sick of feeling this way, i went to find and answer to heal myself, but most importantly i asked for it. Eventually i mentally was drawn to meditations and how they heal depression and found myself at the JoS website. I read all the content and felt this weird sense ease. Somehow i knew that my personality, my way of thinking, and the uneasy feeling of Christianity was me telling myself subconsciously that I found where i belong spiritually. I was nervous dedicting myself as well, but then i thought about how i found myself in this part of my life and why im sitting here staring at lit candles ready to dedicate. I dont know how it happened but it did. Once i realized this, i took the step and now im beginning a new part of my life, and the rest of it. As for you, you lived l life to this point, and somehow found your way to the JoS website and  maybe felt comfortable in some way. Some people would say that it was your Guardian demon or even Satan that led you here. The point being is try not to take the feeling of yourself pushing yourself to dedicate lightly. It is a gut feeling, that everyone on JoS experienced and took as a sign. The dedication ritual is an act of courage towards Satan and the Gods. Above all, i hope this helps. HAIL SATAN

After I dedicated my fears began melting away .Now ive got just about none left.Ive still got fight or flight response but I need that.You already know what you want.Give that fear an identity.Its a living,intelligent thing standing in your way.Get mad at it and push it out of your way.Or just forget all that and go to church,maybe convert to Islam.
