Saturn square

Betelgeuse is adjacent to Saturn in my natal chart so I was wondering if it would be possible to use the energy of Saturn to enhance the effects of Betelgeuse? I’ve never seen anyone talk about the stars coming into play in a planetary square but it should be possible if those energies are entangled, or would I have to wait until a plant is over a star in order to draw energy from that star threw a square?

“The energy of Saturn is permanently enhancing the effects of Betelgeuse on my soul in the most possible way possible.” Would be the affirmation.

If you want the increased energy of a star, then do the star meditation on the JoS. You can use an app or look online to see when a star will be over you, and then try to find it in the night sky and tune into it. If the star is not visible, you can use an app on your phone to find it, you move your phone around and it uses the camera to find it and it shows all the stars and constellations with their names.

The method the OP had in mind would increase the effects of Saturn in a way where the star is influencing the outcome. The method2 mentioned by Lydia would increase the effect of the star.

The first time I ever went into a trance I saw a blue sun. (what I believe to be Rigal) so I should probably do the star meditation regardless of whether or not I go forward with the Saturn square. Doing this first would be safer.

You can utilize Saturn in a way that is beneficial to you. A positive influence from a star is an additional positive factor. Saturn is tricky because it is malefic so it can cause issues for the unprepared, sometimes great ones. But if you do the right things there should not be a problem.

Regarding the actions of Saturn, Saturn is where we are tested and disciplined, and therefore may feel inadequate in. Therefore, looking at your natal Saturn, this means you are disciplined towards the affairs that are ruled by Betelgeuse. As another example, Saturn in Libra means you take seriously relationships, and perhaps you might find them to be harder to maintain, or like they had been difficult in your life, thus requiring you to spend a lot of effort mastering them.

I think Betelgeuse interacting with your natal Saturn would therefore be good, as its energies impact Saturn, however it can be hard to tell, because Saturn "prefers" to be in signs like Capricorn which are broad and managerial, whereas it is actually in detriment in the sign of Leo, which is faster and more personal.

Now, that is different than if you raised the energies of the Sun or Betelgeuse to benefit your Saturn, as you would affirm the process to happen positively, which would avoid a negative result or manifestation, like which may exist when Saturn is found within those other signs. It might make more sense to use the energies of Betelgeuse for its traditional functions, like empowering something or manifesting victory and prosperity.

I appreciate the advice, I mainly considered doing this because of the importance of Betelgeuse, I figured it being on my chart with a planet gave me a unique opportunity that I could exploit rather that just doing the star meditation.

I am being careful about this because I know of the dangers of Saturn if it was any other planet I would have just done the square already.

I might try one Square on a Saturday not optimal for the Square (a couple Saturdays from now when my mars square is done) to limit my exposure to a smaller dose and see what happens, I know on the website it says when to do it and when not to do it, so what happens when you do it in a time not specified? Is it just less energy or does it manifest in a different way?

Saturn is also retrograde over Betelgeuse if that matters, i know we’re not supposed to talk about our astrology so I’ll only mention this one placement on my chart, questions involving Saturn would require a lot of back and forth so I figured just asking the anonymous board wasn’t good enough.
