Why is 23rd december Satans day, if the sun gets into Capricorn (Satans sign) during 21st and not 23rd?
Also, isnt the 21st the shortest day? On the website it says its the 22. december.

So should the holiest holiday be on the night of 21-22 instead of 22-23?

"Satan has picked the day of remembrance for himself to be the longest night of the year.

Why, out of all these dates, has Satan, who is the Highest God, picked this day of the year to be the day that people go to Him and remember Him? Should it not be Spring? Is not Spring the most joyous time of the year?

The answer for this is that because it's in the deepest darkness is when the light has the most power, the most meaning. From the 23rd onwards, days get longer - hope gets longer, power gets longer. It is actually the darkest point in life and in existence out of which the moving upwards begins." HP. Hoodedcobra666

Maybe because of this:

"Did you know?
The exact date and time of the winter solstice changes each year because the Earth actually takes 365.256 days to orbit the Sun. This is the same reason that we have a leap year every 4 years!" https://wanttoknowit.com/what-is-the-longest-night-of-the-year/

Maybe back then when it was set, it was the longest night, it was always from there on 23.

Don´t know how old the tradition is. Found a singel winter solstice pdf for one place dated back until 1900 it was for this place always between 21-22. http://infinitedimensions.org/devices/thellid_calendar/GWS_dates.pdf

but the longer the less 2000-2100 it was stated mostly 21 and one time 20.

Acording to this I asume the day / date was set like 200-300 years back. Pre JOS tradition.

Probably are some workings related to this date.

According to ChronosXP the longest night where I am is from 22 to the end of the year. Then the night starts to shorten by a minute or so again, accelerating later.
