I know, the belief of him being the reincarnation of the Khan, is rather a buddhistic view as we all know that mongols in the 20th century were heavily indoctrinated by buddhism. I'm not new with this Baron Ungern-Sternberg. He is seen as an excuse to promote the idiotic and anti-spiritual ideology of the Perennial Philosophy, better known as Perennialism. I have already exposed it as a false doctrine that has nothing to do with real Satanism, let alone Ancient Paganism. Anyway, he is seen as a "Perennialist" because he was born as a Lutheran who also prayed in Russian Orthodox Churches and Mongol Buddhist Temples, while also attending shaman ceremonies (from the Pagan Religion of Tengrism) and making friends with Muslims. And, as you said, he was seen by Mongols as an incarnation of Mahakala, the Buddhist version of Shiva. He is also described to have swallowed a St. George medal before dying.
Now, other than possibly being spiritually wrong, he identified as a reincarnation of a person from another race (Genghis Khan) and even wanted to create, according to some of his modern followers, an Eurasian Empire with the Japanese Showa Emperor and the last member of the Qing Dynasty, which would be dangerous from any NS viewpoint. And it seems that he was not just for Traditionalism, but for Barbarism, which is Abrahmic, not Satanic.

I'm not trying to admit perfectibility on my part and I'm not trying to admit full on intelligence of knowing everything.
But...
It seems to me like the poison of goyimism is everywhere. No matter what there is always the pestilence of judeo-bolshevism. Either the person is supportive of freedom and wants betterment but has some spiritual poison. Or the person is poisoned and has issues and in this case even his name was seen as a liability by some and he is trying to do good with poison.
