Jon Arya (singer) is Xtian haha...and Kerry King (guitarist) is LaVeyan or something. They said they use it as an image to express their darker selves and because it attracts people...they say it's a 'cool' topic and loads to talk about.

Um, so, Slayer, personally I believe, they are NOT a truly Satanic band, I'm sure that they just use Satanism for more audience or something. Nonetheless, I was quite obsessed with some of their songs in the past (be aware, it's thrash/slash(?) metal, so it's.. intense). I will post the links to the *lyrics* here. First of all, there are these songs that say "God" hates this world etc, and *I* like to think of this "God" as the fucking christian disgusting thoughtform. Anyway.

I only listen to anti religous metal or just metal that in no way idolizes the xian depiction of Satanism. Immolation is a good band that goes against organized religion. I listen to metal because I am impressed with the talent of guitar playing and the power of it. Btw, Obscura is a great technical death metal band from Germany with beautiful lyrics and amazing amazing guitar talent. So nice lol

Meh.ll for shock value, IMO. It's not like I take any of the death metal bands I listen to seriously. HAHA Everyone I know that has met the Deicide frontman says he's a complete asshole. As Shannon stated, I enjoy their musicianship and skill. It's why I picked up guitar in the first place. I enjoy metal more for its sound than the lyrics and it's shouldn't be taken seriously, but that's just me.

Kerry King states he is 'Satanist'. Thought seeing he is the one lyrically behind the anti-christian/'Satanic' songs, it is clear he is in it for the shock value. The big 'God Hates Us All' tattoo along his entire arm shouts out that he still follows to an extent the doctrines of the enemy. He is nothing but another LaVey posing to be a Satanist for impression value.

The fact is, the music industry is difficult, and strongly influenced/run by the kikes. It is especially aparent in the main stream metal scene that they take a grab on whoever is the biggest 'up and coming' band. Slayer is a good example for this. They go against what the Kikes are, yet they see it is catching on with the youth. So instead of opposing it, they control it to produce another means of enslavement and profit. People waste their time getting involved in their music, and waste thousands of dollars on merchendies, albums, extras, and concerts. This can be seen repeated with alot of the top grossing bands, and is a reason why they're so succesful, kike support. If anything is taking the attention of the masses away from the Kike agenda, they will step in to take control of that.

A good band to listen to IMO is Wardruna. Though this is also down to an opinion of musical taste.
