Questions about my attitude

Hello guys, i'm new to Spiritual Satanism. I started doing basic meditations for chakras i found on the site and (as you know already) they verymuch work! I can tell i'm healing my soul and i had visions about it too. But nice experiences aside i would like to ask you a question because i'm a bit confused about my attitude. Let me explain what i mean. Reading meditations, affirmations etc. i saw that many are used to grant powers like wishes (for lack of better words). Like you get X reward for Y work. and i understand this, but i'm a bit confused, I dont doubt the power of the works, but my attitude towards life wont let me do this. I know that this kind of attitude comes from the place i grew up, because i'm from a first world country, and if we want something we most of the time can get that by working relatively hard. I also understand that those meditations HAVE to be that powerful, in order to reach everyone in any situation, and let them be free and powerful, so i see how they are right. But i know that if i try to do those works i will make them weaker because i dont like those affirmations for my self. So my question was, is this kind of attitude a trap of the enemy so we dont use the full extent of our powers? Or is ok to have this attitude and i can maybe change the affirmations to give me chances to reach objectives rather that the objective directly if that works better for me?

I know i must sound like an entitled asshole right now, but i'm genuine and willing to learn, so i'm grateful to anyone that will spare his time to answer me.

The enemy doesn't want us to get bigger rewards, and they want us to work harder with less reward. Doing magick removes obstacles which can bring us bigger rewards, and help things along more.

It is good that you have a hard working attitude, as the physical/material side is needed as well as the spiritual side, when it comes to magick. You can try an affirmation to increase your rewards.

Definitely change the words in the affirmation to what would work better for you, but keep something like "___ in beneficial ways for me" to prevent anything unwanted or unpleasant from resulting.
