Does it matter? It´s all fiction, mixed with pagan elements, written by a jewish greek famaly around 300 years later (oldest bible is written in greek) after the supposed death, off their fictious rebel rabbi aka "Jesus". If you would have to write a book that should make your enemys weak by worshipping a deity that preaches forgive your enemys etc, ofcourse you need a final chapter, in which only your messiah is standing and the highest authority otherwise why would people follow?
