Will a fast spinning base chakra offset negativity of Saturn, so I can postpone this working somewhat until later?

The house and sign of Saturn are important here. For example, the root chakra can help you even if it cannot completely save you from the effect of an aspect between Saturn and Neptune. However, if Saturn is in a position related to money and material things, it may make more sense to do other work instead.
