I don't have a small coffee table on which to put candles and incense for Rituals, so last time I used a wooden chair that I really like because it's small and at the perfect height to use from a kneeling position. Is it considered disrespectful if I also use that chair for household things? Like climbing on it, stacking objects on it? I plan to specifically buy a piece of furniture for an altar, but until then, I prefer to use that chair rather than one of my desks because they're too high to access from kneeling, and I don't want to sit on a chair while doing a Ritual. I usually kneel or sit in the Lotus position, and both are uncomfortable on a chair behind a desk.

It's fine. Many members have to make do with what they have, and the chair alter itself is not something that is consecrated as a ritual tool anyway.
