Looking at the recent god rituals, I can see very well AI was used to make each image. Hands in some are mangled, feet in others and others have nonsensical backgrounds. Isn't this a little disrespectful? We have to have some one around here who could do the job, it feels wrong to delegate the job of making art for our gods to a machine that can't even do it right.

Human artists will always be more appreciated than AI Art.
There are just not many who can as of this moment draw the Gods how they deserve.

Sounds like we got a volunteer!

In seriousness, no we dont have someone who is both willing AND capable and on top of that realistically anyone making art of the Gods would have to have the ability to see the Gods which massively reduces the talent pool even further.

If someone could and would then it would already have been done.

All these are just example pictures. Still many people are working on their psychic senses. We are all evolving, but in the meantime I like to read pictures and stories about the Gods.

I think Al can be used for art in the future.

The gods want us to use our craft. Not artificial intelligence that will do it quickly and add nonsense.

The gods like it better.

Everything is more beautiful and pleasurable when you work hard and make your own efforts.

Please, if you can make decent enough art, or know someone who can do it for us, then by all means do or ask others to do it!

The situation is that there is a shortage of available artists with the required skills. Otherwise, people would do these things.

This post by HPHC explains the (current) "need" for AI images quite good.

To create something like this, the artist needs time, skills and knowledge in depicting the Gods properly.

A human-made artpiece in a style like this would take at least several hours or days (if not WEEKS, if you consider the image of Lord Alpheus and all the details in this depiction)

I have noticed that there are many artists active in the forums lately, maybe they also feel a "push" in advancing their skills and to do art for our Gods (at least I do have an urge to practise a lot of drawing lately..)

But it all takes time to develop the knowledge of proportions, spatial depth and perspective, colour theory, ...etc. to create something like this. Also knowledge of the respective God and how to depict them appropriately.

Maybe there is/are already someone who can create stunning art like this - this would be really awesome! 🤩

As for now, I do think the AI-images are fine. They do their job to convey how the depicted God does appear. For a very visually inclined person like me this helps in connecting with the Gods. And it gives me ideas what kind of art I want to create someday 😄

Few do so... which is the problem. The required level for these types of artworks is also very high and it has to be professional. Sorry, but it's not a deviantART-tier type of thing of 'muh subjective, no criticism, how dare you'. Truly artistic temperaments also have to be catered to more.

Just look at the first reflowering of paganism in the Renaissance and what it spawned in Italy and the Low Countries. That's the level we must attain. There was, however, an infrastructure for this, with patronage networks and networks of teaching buttressing the artisans: this is a long term endeavor. The loss of this has pushed us towards abstract art.

I painted the skull for Islamicevil, but this is not really on the level for representing the Gods. Even Guardians have to refine their skills, being an artist is a 24/7 thing.

In future, this will be different.

My options are these:

1. Stick man drawing that is "Human"
2. No drawing at all, aka, no design or art.
3. AI which can provide something under human direction.

If you want to preach on "What should be done", help improve the options. Idealism cannot be eaten.

The same goes for other necessities etc. Some donate and do real work, others look at the stars and give the community a long delusional preaching. This helps nowhere, there is no improvement through this, only more insanity and many hiding their incapacities via "Moral Rules".

Others do the labor and the real work, others are lazy or don't develop talents and others for the rest worthless criticism and false "moral rules", where they contribute nothing.

I want to work with a Picasso or a Paganini. But someone has to get to that level. Alternatively, AI pictures from online will do until that time.
